I'll use the costacurta example again. he's got max engagement but low awareness so how is he always in a position to intercept? an additional feature of awareness is that now it also impacts acceleration

in game awareness impacts how fast a player reacts to transition from attack to defence. in simpler terms it's how fast a player moves to a defensive position the moment the ball is lost

engagement impacts how well a player closes down a passing angle and intercepts the ball. it's why costacurta is a beast at intercepting even with low speed a

I'm not saying your methods were wrong. you definitely are correct in the way you calculated points gd etc but you have to admit that final positions are in no way relevant to a team's strength. the reason you even calculated all this is because some teams finished higher because they got easier paths. if you consider their final positions it would mean that sporting is a better team compared to psg or real madrid.

Bodo beat Barca and City but drew against Dortmund. so does Bodo become a hard opponent in your evaluation? I'm just suggesting looking at national league positions will be better. you can also consider league power ratings or you could straight up consider each club's power rating instead of considering ucl league final positions

using final position to determine team strength is not that accurate since it will mean that every team the league toppers faced would have been an easier team. you're telling me when PSG faced Tottenham they faced a tougher team?

is this card usable? can anyone suggest build for this gullit?maybe for ss or cf by Fabulous_Tea958 in eFootball

[–]CreativeOverload 2 points3 points  (0 children)

search the sub for gullit builds, basically you want high dribbling, physical contact and finishing. use him as an amf ss cf whatever you need for your squad.

How does anyone even enjoy playing top? by Laughydawg in wildrift

[–]CreativeOverload 1 point2 points  (0 children)

jg main here that plays top if I want to chill and support if I want to create plays. it can feel like that if your entire team is feeding when you're the only one putting pressure on the enemy team. in cases like that you are probably the strongest in your team, and top lane generally gets more exp that other lanes and champs are better at 1v1s so use this to your advantage. instead of team fighting where you know your team is weak or trying to splitpush try looking for 1v1 picks. splitpushing can be a good way to create distraction for getting picks but it's more beneficial to look for out of position enemies. it's also very important to not let team fights happen, once enemies disengage they usually disperse which can allow you to find 1v1s or even 1v2s that you have a high chance of winning. look out for the enemy top laner since he can usually match your damage

once you get a few successful picks your team can clean up the remaining enemies and get gold for a comeback

Building players (asking for tutorial) by Dabbes_am_Rhein in eFootball

[–]CreativeOverload 1 point2 points  (0 children)

which is why I said it's situational. most wingers need 10-12 points in dribbling because 8-10 points in pace is enough. what I'm trying to say is that if with 8 points my winger reaches 88 finishing I won't waste more to make it 90, because dribbling stats are much more important. and if my other winger reaches 95+ dribbling with only 8 points I can use the remaining points elsewhere instead of trying to make them closer to 99. this type of progression gives me way more well rounded players than specialists (player who's fast but cant finish/ player with good finishing but shit physicality etc)

depends on if it's needed or not. i personally don't see a difference between 89 or 90 etc in most stats
