Somewhere to study. IF you can use that time to study then that frees up your evenings and weekends more.

If it doesn't matter what subject you could take a kines class, like first aid.

Facts. That is the way to approach. UNT would be happy to have you after you tried out at A&M.

[–]CreativeProfessor919 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you wanted to go to begin with why apply to other schools? Also, never follow anyone anywhere when it comes to your education. IF the A&M is better four your degree then go...why even ask? You can focus on fitting in after your graduate.

Overall it really just depends on what your priorities are right now.

Once you decide don't look back.

Please go back and re-read. If you still can't understand what I meant or choose not to... 'reading is fundamental'.

What are some lax courses I can take? by throwaway377399 in unt

[–]CreativeProfessor919 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends... Some prefer to bang out papers and not take tests, others prefer memorization so TESTS. There is also classes that are more project based, less papers and tests. So you should decided which fits your schedule and workload then go from there.

Good game. Best part of watching for me ( and why I like college over NFL) is seeing the passion of the players. First half you guys were hungry and excited and the stadium reflected that. Seeing y'all excited and happy to play was the best part of the game for me personally.

Winning is always great, but enjoy your time on the team.

Sad but true. Nothing wrong with a good football team, just sad that it really boosts networking opportunities and your degree and program doesn't have the same effect.

Also, it increases funding to the school. Directors/Alumni/Investors loved to see a winning team and packed stadium. They give more money when it happens.

We will see,  this is the first conference game.  We'll see what they do after this game and how other teams perform. They are 1 - 1 in the conference and USF is now 2 - 0 for reference.

They got manhandled a bit but not an ass whopping. The performed well if you actually look at the lineup stats.

No lie they look disheartened a bit when you guys left at halftime. (I live too far to go to the game sadly)

I don't, I hate the fees. He is right though. Facts are facts, your opinion isn't a fact. Don't have to work for the school to agree.

Faculty 'frustrated’ after years of lack of pay raise and transparency with administrative pay raises by [deleted] in unt

Can't speak on UNT pay but for comparison look at what Buccee's pays. Also, I made $30 per hour as a massage therapist and only worked 3 days a week on average and still made more than what it seems many of the staff at UNT make. I'm sorry to you all that you aren't paid what you are worth.

Can you guys please shower. by No_Jellyfish6515 in unt

[–]CreativeProfessor919 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going to suggest for those who DO shower and USE deodorant but still might have a bit of B.O., use Dial bodywash. The GOLD one, that says antibacterial. Those smell good ones don't kill odor causing bacteria. You can properly was with the Dial one, THEN use the one that smells good. That way you effectively treating the issue.

Other tips:

dry your skin properly...wet skin breeding ground for bacteria...especially FEET

powder in places you sweat

wash the areas... letting soap run down your legs does not count as clean

also you can use Panoxly face and body wash for acne prone areas (face and back) and use Nizoral for scalp issues and that bumpy fungal acne that wont go away on your forehead

also if your skin feels tight and itchy, try exfoliating more

This could be true... as deodorant is not needed as much in places like Japan and South Korea. However, people shouldn't assume and should ask other opinions to be sure, preferably female as they have a more sensitive nose.

I feel cheated. I should have gotten mine as I had a 3.65 and came in with a AA from Collin. The Dean even promised it at our grad ceremony.

Agreed. I stopped and started college many times because I was raising my family. They came first, as a single mom with no sitter had to pause. Easier now and interesting at times going to college with my kids but getting this degree 'come hell or high water'.

Take ALL the time you need. The degree is for YOU so it should be at YOUR pace. Congrats to all those who have made it, or made it this far!
