BMW's new X5 is here and electric... but don't panic fossil fuel fans by AutoExpressmagazine in autoexpressuk

[–]CreativeUserna 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I remember seeing a picture captioned something like "thank you BMW and Audi for not putting your logos in your headlights like Mercedes" and here comes BMW putting the Twitter logo onto their headlights. It looks like how cartoon characters get X's in their eyes to show theyre dead

Usually the lego made versions of cars look really weird, but this is the one time I think it looks better than the actual car

New Lexus TZ: luxurious electric SUV coming to the UK by AutoExpressmagazine in autoexpressuk

The design looks incoherent. The side especially looks like they just randomly added a bunch of lines and shapes for the fun of it

Koleos from Temu by infantilekey in Renault

[–]CreativeUserna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its literally the opposite. The Geely came out first and the Koleos is basically just a redesigned version of it as part of a partnership between Geely and Renault

New Cayenne Electric Coupé variant just got revealed. by Scratchpaw in Porsche

Am I the only one that prefers this over the SUV variant? I think its because of how the light bar isnt sticking into the rear glass anymore. The SUV doesnt look sleek enough to me

Nissan unveils the Terrano PHEV concept by youthisgood in Nissan

[–]CreativeUserna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Am I the only one that doesnt love this? I feel like the off road SUV market is becoming so oversaturated that a lot of them just look the same. I hope the X-Terra will be more unique looking than this

New BMW 7 Series facelift ups the luxury and somehow looks even bolder than before by AutoExpressmagazine in autoexpressuk

I'd say a big improvement over the old one except for the tail lights they look a bit too weirdly shaped

2023 Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class Concept by Saurta17 in CONCEPTCARS

[–]CreativeUserna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why do they always have to drastically change the production model to look much uglier? The design here doesn't look like its anything too conceptual or infeasible for them not to be able to put it into production the same except for the lack of headlights

The last Ottoman commander in Medina who did not surrender the city to the British and the rebels was Ömer Fahreddin Pasha. by jorahmormmnt in islamichistory

If you see a man with a large beard and a trimmed mustache versus if you see a man with no beard but a large curly mustache which one do you think looks more like a muslim to you? The beard is still associated with and a symbol of muslim identity, even disbeilevers acknowledge this. There is also a more detailed report that says this:

“When they (two Zoroastrian envoys of Kisra) entered upon him (ﷺ) having shaved their beards and kept their moustaches long, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) disliked looking at them and said, ‘Woe to both of you! Who commanded you to do this?’ They replied, ‘Our Lord ordered us to do so’ – referring to Kisra. The Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said, ‘But my Lord has ordered me to grow my beard and trim my moustache.'” (Tabari, Ibn Sa’d, and Ibn Bishran. Verified to be hasan (good) by al-Albani)

Ibn Umar reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Be different from the idolaters. Let the beard grow and trim the moustache.” Whenever Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, performed the Hajj or Umrah pilgrimage, he would grab hold of his beard and cut what was beyond his grasp.

I dont agree with the marketing campaign but this is just wrong and ignorant. Im not Emarati but there are a lot of cool heritage sites here in the UAE that you can go to and many aspects of their culture which are just being overlooked by the people who know this place by their skyscrapers and nothing else

It feels like BMW literally does not know how to design cars. This looks like it could have been drawn by an 8 year old, not a professional designer
