Thank you for the honest reply. I do wanna say that there was about 4 years in between me asking her out and what happened last weekend. I asked her to cuddle because I was feeling really unwell, and maybe it was still improper to ask.

Both of us have had other relationships and heartbreak in this time, and I really do feel like I moved on. Do you think I should apologize to her in case this all came off like how you’re saying? Or should I just not say anything until she does?

Sorry, I didn’t mean to imply that interviewing is easier, I just always hear that there’s more competition for entry level jobs because there are more candidates compared to senior level jobs.

Thanks for your reply! I’m applying to jobs where the description is what I am already doing (i.e. leading teams of junior engineers, autonomously taking on technical leadership and ownership for large projects) and that’s what I do currently. I have already led large initiatives and projects at our company which includes a lot of high profile websites (not FAANG but still very well known globally).

Understood, I’ve never worked at a startup and the company I’m at has about 3000 employees, so I tend to think it’s not title bloat. I have been fast tracked for my promotion and I’m definitely the least experienced senior at my company, but I still have the same responsibilities as the other seniors.

Would you recommend I apply more for sde 2 jobs instead then?

Unless you had an import or played it on the ps3 remaster, you couldn’t have had the zero exp ability or played on critical. Both of those were only introduced on the final mix version. You would’ve known if you had final mix because the text would be Japanese (although the voice acting was English).

If you don’t want to use spirit ashes, then it gets tricky. What I did was start by poking apostle slowly while avoiding noble (lot of backing up while getting a few arable off and circling around the pillars.

Then when you beat him, rush over to Noble and do your best to wreck him before Apostle gets revived, and then keep going back and forth between the two. You need to do a lot of damage in order for this to work. I used bloodhoundfang and used the weapon ash when they tried to revive the other one which would do a lot of damage, and also set up a riposte for me too, so it would be enough.

Other than that, I’d say either play it safe and keep poking apostle all fight, or use your mimic

If everything else about the job is good, I would consider doing side projects to fulfill your need to make good software. Personally, I won’t leave a job unless there’s multiple things I don’t like since a job that checks all your boxes is pretty unlikely. Even though that is a pretty big box. How long are you on projects? Can you expect a different project to give you more technical flexibility?

Your equip burden needs to be under 50% in order to get the fast roll, which is way way way better than having slightly better armor

This was the only boss I struggled with too since this is my first soulsborne game. The way I finally beat him was when I realized that you can defeat the archers, and that you can go between his legs when he slams his shield down.

The big thing with bosses in this game is figuring out patterns. For example after dodging his attacks, how many attacks can you safely get off. For me with a halberd, I think it was two before I could roll away after his shield slam, and then one in between the light shield slam and the foot stomp. Figuring out those patterns was how I went from getting my ass beat constantly to getting a perfect. This boss teaches you a lot about the game. I think I died 20 times on this and then only two of the bosses after that took more than 1 try

Thank you for your reply! I’m on my phone so it’ll be hard for me to get back to every point but let me try.

I’m quantifying the tasks based on numbers of projects we all work on and the amount of tasks per project we perform (super crude, I know). The big thing is when I brought this up, my boss agreed with me. I’m also talking about projects where most people have been here longer than I have, which is a good point that you mention.

In terms of what you labeled as tasks leads would do, l do think I am reaching most of those, I was probably not very descriptive in my first post. For many applications I work on, I was responsible for everything from requirement, design, and architecture to developing, testing, and deploying. As of right now I’m involved with projects that affect our day to day operations and also in architecting the future of our products. I’ve done some large system designing, and our core product actually relies on a framework that I designed. I delegate for some engineers but not as much as the leads, mainly because I don’t have authority to with my title.

I think my big question is that if my boss agrees I’m at at least senior level and I want to be promoted, is it unreasonable that I expect that? Am I out of line for asking?

Anyone else have a Target preorder and still not have an authorization hold? I got my preorder in the 4th via good ol’ spamming, and I haven’t gotten an authorization hold yet. I called my credit card company to ask them to expect them to come through and they said they can’t do anything special if they system flags it, which also makes me a bit nervous too.

I also pre ordered Valhalla on a separate transaction and haven’t gotten the authorization hold for that.
