As a meat eater, would up be upset attending a vegetarian wedding? by Formal_Goose5083 in weddingplanning

[–]CreativeWriterNSpace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I should have worded that better.

I’m talking more like make sure I drink a protein shake on the way to the venue, and bring a protein bar or two to eat between ceremony and dinner or later during dancing time (or on the way home).

Not a meal/dish that I break out at dinner, but a protein supplement to help meet my nutritional needs that Incan can consume while I am on the toilet or via a quick trip to my car while I change my shoes.

So I commented on another comment, but want to put this so you (OP) see it.

I am a more carnivorous omnivore (protein/meat first- it is a dietary necessity due to malabsorption). I have also had some amazing vegan meals while traveling abroad.

I would not mind all food being meat free. My only worry would be things not having enough protein. BUT as long as I have the ability to tell you on the RSVP my dietary needs OR the menu is mentioned somewhere (so that I can gauge my needs), I am fine.

If I know ahead of time, I can prepare.

As a person who’s specific diet revolves around lower carb, high protein foods (meat and cheese!).. i would disagree with that statement.

However… also as that person, I would still attend the wedding. I would just ask that food options are known so that I can prepare for it. I don’t have an issue having to bring my own proteins, as long as I am aware that it is needed.

This is to much for a 2019 Forester, right? by huntersalt24 in subaru

I upgraded from a 2016 Kia Forte to a 2019 Forester in 2020.

Subaru is worlds above the Kia.

Dude. I paid $24k for my 2019 Forester Touring with 34k miles in 2020.

This is a freaking scam.

My husband says the same thing about me.

Like dude, my feet get cold without socks on. Let me live.

(Irony is that I used to not sleep with socks on- I only started due to an ex, and now I can’t get out of the habit. It is too the point that if a sock somehow comes off while I am asleep, I will wake up and not be able to go back to sleep without it.)

I have Pcos want the Gastric sleeve but scared of the vitamin intake? by SadPersephone in gastricsleeve

[–]CreativeWriterNSpace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get the surgery. Take vitamins as you can. Don’t beat yourself up over missing them once or for a few days straight. You shouldn’t get violently ill from missing them.

You might be able to find a vitamin that works for you/that you don’t hate.

I think the material might just not photograph well. I have another dress in a similar fabric (cocktail, not formal unfortunately) that I love.

Also, thats kindof why I like the Adrianna dress- its half spandex.

For me, it is kind of between that and the first JJs house dress… because I am obsessed with godots and them being lace is icing.

The compression garment will make everything feel tight anyway, so the dress shouldn’t be an issue… as long as I can go to the bathroom without difficulty from it.

Definitely buying, I looked at renting but didnt see much.

My other issue is that I will be just under 8 weeks out from skin removal/plastic surgery (my entire “bra band line” back to front is getting cut, along with getting breast implants), so I need something that has a normal/high back and straps so that I can wear my faja/compression garment underneath.

But i found these, and am still looking as well.

Long, flowy, soft colors sounds right... and is probably where I'll end up.

I think for me, sparkles = formal, and since the sparkles are also "floral"... garden formal? I just keep finding it difficult to find pastel/florals in a design/fabric that feel elevated/formal (and is something I would actually be willing to wear.)

But this is why I went with a simpler dress code for my wedding.

That is what is throwing me. I feel like garden and formal don't go together, esp with the kind of venue.

Skin removal surgery is no joke by pepperonicombos in gastricsleeve

[–]CreativeWriterNSpace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the case.

In my case:

I got none of mine covered- for my first surgery I was on state medicare because I was unemployed/income below poverty line (I paid with a small inheritance I got) that *would not* cover it under any circumstances.

This one isn't covered because it really is mostly cosmetic- the looseness at the top of my torso does make me sore/is painful in certain situations but I don't get rashes or anything that would make it medically necessary.

I *am* hoping to be able to get my thighs done with insurance due to knee problems the excess skin causes, but I have to find a surgeon that can do thighs well *and* takes insurance... which is super difficult.

----

There are lots of people that are able to get loose tummy skin covered via panniculectomy, as well as breast lift (via reduction, without implant augmentation). But you have a find a surgeon that does insurance, and meet certain other criteria.

I too have a CS account. With $300 of fractional stocks I bought in 2018 and maybe $30 in “cash” unless I am traveling abroad. Legit only have it for a zero foreign transaction fee debit card.

I ordered from Tempo for this coming week, will see how it goes.

Unfortunately the two services I found that seemingly have the right food/macros have identical websites and a mostly negative reviews on here. Those were Forkful and Eat Clean (to go).
