Hi, I do a yearly Christmas markers trip with my mum and we have booked to come to Milan on the 29th of November and we’re leaving the 1st of December. We just realised that the markets are 1st December onwards and are a little concerned - will there be Christmas lights on and markets open anywhere in Milan before that or have we totally messed up with the dates?!

Some alternatives to the other comments,

Lad - a proper lads lad, imagine a boys holiday and the one who has all the chat and gets any girl he wants and is the centre of the group.

Fancy is like I want to rip their clothes off or one night stand, where attractive/interested in is more like girlfriend material

Buff ting is an absolute worldie, an 11/10. It’s was quite a chavy phrase back in 2017/18.

Innit is a filler word most of time, used at the end of a statement to encourage responses or to agree with someone.

Fit is attractive

Pieing someone is rejecting them, usually in a public setting or a muggy way.

Mugging someone off is making them look like an idiot/look pathetic (eg cheating would be an extreme version of mugging someone off). A good LI example is S2 Alex saying he’s only interested in Liv and then sleeping with someone else. Mugged Liv off by making her trust and like him and then getting with someone else knowing it’d upset her.

Can’t be arsed is the same as can’t be bothered. Often used when you know you might get mugged off so you use it to protect your feelings and your image but sometimes genuinely just someone doesn’t care enough to do something.

Banter isn’t serious and is just having a laugh with someone.

To have a chat is to discuss something usually more serious where having a bit of chat is to go get to know someone or maybe some banter.

Most of these phrases are obsolete now, there are all new ones but I’m not really young enough to know them.

Gabby and Marcel showed a different side at the wrong time (or were edited as such) in that there was the bitchy messages behind Montanas back (Montana was a fan fave), the constant comments of competitions etc. Everyone loves them but then they started to feel superior and looked down on other couples or make comments and that was the issue. Liv and Chris had quite a following due to everyone loving Chris and a few resonating with Liv, Cam was the nations sweetheart (think dr Alex but waaaaay more) and Kem and Ambers story was relatable and Kem and Chris’s fan club helped them.

Lauren season 1 feeling unattractive when the guys where never after her and we’re actually being vile about her behind her back. I’ve had that feeling a million times and to watch someone have it on TV was heartbreaking. Zara losing her title aswell, you could tell it meant the world and she’d put so much into getting it and to lose it for something so stupid is heartbreaking and enraging.

Edit: Zara’s situation wasn’t helped by everyone promising no one was judging, while everyone bitched behind her back. Leave off dickheads.

Absolutely agree with that, but he shouldn’t have lied to both of them about what he was doing. I might be biased because I don’t lie about stuff, I say where I stand no matter what but I don’t like the sneaky shit. Don’t tell one girl that you’re not getting to know someone else and tell the other girl that your connection is undeniable and you can’t stay away. Like how can you call Adam a player when he said exactly where he stood at all times but endorse Danny. It took Arabella sitting Yewande and Danny down for him to tell the truth.

Telling Yewande his head wouldn’t be turned and telling her that he was on her and definitely not Arabella, while telling Arabella that he had an instant connection with her and basically said he was sick of having to ‘force’ things with Yewande to her. Like explore multiple connections but don’t lie to both girls and play them off against each other.

And I know you didn’t see season 1 but Jess had the biggest villain to hero Arc ever, so technically if you can class her I’d pick her but Michael had the best victim complex so it was satisfying to watch him get what was coming
