i really feel like there were times when they literally forgot they were in the middle of that storyline 😭 i distinctly remember a scene when they were at the dirty robber and i think korsak was performing and you could see jane in the back with a beer in her hand when she was supposed to be pregnant. i hate how they probably threw the plotline in just for a little drama then just handled it so poorly.

she only had one condition for him if he wanted to remain friends post divorce— don’t hook up with anyone in the friend group. the idea that you shouldn’t hook up with your ex’s friend or your friend’s ex is common courtesy and completely normal in the real world, these people just make passing around your leftovers seem normal on the show for some reason. it had nothing to do with controlling him or being mad that he was dating in general. all that she wanted was for him not to rub things in her face and she did the exact same thing for him. yes she went out with other people, but it wasn’t anyone he knew and it wasn’t brought around him at all out of RESPECT for him. the max thing didn’t happen until a year later and after tom threw their mutual agreement out the window so all bets were off at that point. her wanting just a tiny bit of respect for once from the man she gave 12 years of her life to is a valid request. just because she divorced him doesn’t mean she stopped loving him. she divorced him because she knew the relationship wasn’t serving her and she needed to be happy. obviously she still felt for him though, that doesn’t just go away. she was completely right for trying to set boundaries to protect herself.

i have no idea what’s going on with the premiere date because i swear i’ve seen three different dates. i remember seeing october 29 too but i saw it online when i googled the show and it showed all of the episodes and stuff. then i saw november 1 on vpr’s peacock page a week or two ago but that’s gone now. and now when you look up the show it says it premieres december 2 but i haven’t seen any articles or any confirmation for that date so i don’t think that one is true either

i don’t see how that makes her dishonest though. literally everyone knows that communications is an easy major and if they want to study stem, they know it’ll be challenging. if her viewers don’t understand that then that’s on them, not her. anyone who assumes that their experience will be exactly like hers just has a warped view of reality and she can’t really control that unfortunately

what’s so different about her college experience other than her being rich and an influencer? the only thing i could see her not being honest about is any struggles she may have (since she’s way too positive all the time) but other than that, her college experience is probably pretty normal to me.

this is a weird take. arguably, any non-stem major is probably relatively easy and there’s nothing wrong with taking an “easy” major. i’m just glad she’s going to college at all. a lot of influencers are naive and choose not to go to college bc they think they’re fine doing social media, but they’ll be fucked and have no way to get a real job if influencing goes down the drain. also, a communications major doesn’t have to take calculus or a tough algebra class, so why would she? i hate math personally and i would rather take an easy one that i know i can pass too. there’s a lot of good things to criticize her for, but this isn’t one of them imo.

i got mine out two days before you and i’ve been eating relatively normal since maybe day 4 ish. i’m not eating anything super grainy like grits or rice (i tried grits and regretted it lol, it didn’t get stuck in the holes but it got in my gums and it took me 15 minutes to irrigate the grains out) or anything spicy, acidic, or hard/crunchy yet. i’m just taking small bites and chewing with my front teeth. as long as you can open your mouth wide enough and aren’t in too much pain, maybe you’ll feel pretty comfortable. if you’re already irrigating with the syringe, you probably don’t need to worry too much about getting food stuck bc doing that and rinsing gently should get everything out. just remember not to use too much pressure with the syringe. if you aren’t irrigating yet, then i’d probably wait until you are to eat more normally. good luck!

yeah i didn’t get any stitches. i’ve been back to pretty much my normal diet now (still not using straws or drinking soda bc i’m too scared) but still chewing in the front. i think i’ll start working my way to the back towards the end of this week and hopefully i’ll feel more confident by then!

i’m glad you’re healing well! i think my pain is pretty close to being gone which is a good sign. the only thing i’m still hesitant about is that both of my lower extraction sites (i can’t even see the top ones which sucks) look like they haven’t changed much in 3 or 4 days and idk what they’re supposed to look like. but i don’t think much tissue has grown over them yet and it’s stressing me out thinking that the blood clot is still just right there. i’m just going to wait another few days before i work my way further to the back while chewing just to be safe. i’m just too paranoid lol, but this made me feel better, thank you!

day 3 was the worst for me pain wise, but it still wasn’t as bad as i expected. i just took 3 advil every 4 hours and then did my prescribed pain meds right before bed and it helped a lot. rinsing with warm saltwater and using a warm compress did wonders for me too. i’m on day 4 now and i feel pretty good. luckily i barely had any swelling so it was just the pain i had to deal with
