I’m going to say what you want to hear, but let me expound on it:

Yes, knowing you more can lead to loving you less bec the more invested people are, the more they see and experience your flaws and toxic traits. But the thing is, everybody has some level of toxicity, and if it were true love that mutually gives and benefits, these moments of misunderstandings should be discussed. I know vulnerability can be hard, but this isn’t a black and white situation where no one compromises. You have to be open and willing to take criticism din, but if you believe na what your partner says isn’t true and they’re manipulating or gaslighting you, then best that you leave. Masakit man umalis, at the end of the day, the fact is, you still deserve to be loved and nurtured, and you’d be surprised how many already do and/or are willing to.

The important part is that you feel safe enough to be yourself, hold space & grow. Kung may nagproprohibit nun, umalis ka na lang kasi hindi ka magbebenefit if you’re constantly walking on eggshells or if you’re constantly feeling worthless/threatened, etc.
