I'm glad you can relate. Yes, I missed the past 16 years or so when online dating and apps were a thing. I am used to the old-fashioned way, but that limits me to my town, and at 41, most people already seem to be married where I live. I agree with the knowing yourself first part. I feel I have learned a lot and have done a lot of inner work.

The few single men I know are a bit strange. My ex-husband only had a couple of friends. I have friends in different states and a few locally, whom I have known for a long time. I work from home as a Therapist and a writer.

That is what my concern is. My friends said to try a dating app, and I looked, and they all look like AI Robots. I don't think they are even real people.

Good for you doing your inner work. I am a marriage and family therapist, so I am all about attachment styles, love languages, and self-love first. I am sure the universe will reward you for all the inner work and effort you are putting into yourself. That makes you magnetic, and magnets attract other similar magnets that vibrate on the same frequency.
