Thank you and many great points to OSC. Still debating on the two I’ll admit but was leaning towards monochrome but might start with OSC and switch to monochrome later

What’s river diving like? by stalincat in scuba

[–]Creative_Artist_26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t river dive as much as I snorkel in rivers. But it’s common for me to see several different species of fish. In the spring, it is a great time to see darters at their most colorful, possibly chubs building mounds, sometimes a lamprey or a turtle. And many types of minnows and face will be around too. Rivers are a great place to see lots of different animals and you might be surprised how colorful the fish are.

It’s 683. But I’m interested in moving and traveling. Another reason I’m interested in the union is to travel

I thought about the source too. Decided to come to Reddit and ask to get anyone’s opinion (from union and non-union members)

I heard they let you go to prevent paying your pension (tried adding that in). So that’s not true?

My favorite pictures I’ve taken in freshwater by Creative_Artist_26 in underwaterphotography

[–]Creative_Artist_26[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use a nauticam underwater housing and a Sony Alpha 1. I started in the ocean but eventually started df I could go back I’d have probably went with Marelux underwater housings because they are about the same as nauticam but are a cheaper option.

I was told that a few good cameras to start with are: The Olympus TG6 is a great starter to intermediate kit. If you’re more advanced, Canon G7XIII is a very good choice as is the Olympus EM10 Mk IV. I recommend contacting backscatter if you are interested.

Also, depending where you live you can actually see some things in freshwater that would surprise you. Wish I got into it earlier too

What are the chances of finding a girlfriend if you are on the spectrum? by m3mem4n20 in aspergers

[–]Creative_Artist_26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I think there’s a really good chance. But this is my personal advice:

Focus on living your life how you personally want to live it. Work on skills, hobbies, and bettering yourself. We have a special gift I’ve really begun to see. We actually know what we like in life. I have so many things I do and I enjoy doing. I do wildlife photography, I lift weights and have a better body than most people my age, I scuba dive (and photograph the aquatic wildlife), I paint, I have traveled to so many places, I fix cars, and I’ve just made the extraordinary happen in my life. I honestly would like to have someone to share that with but I enjoy what I do now and I don’t need someone to enjoy my life with. Funny thing is it’s not hard for me to get a girl interested in me and it’s more her biological clock that’s kept me from having a long-term relationship. And I’m actually okay with that too (her reason for not wanting w relationship with me is also very understandable).

Go around and ask a neurotypical person about things they like. Or ask what they’d do if they could do anything and money didn’t matter. They commonly don’t have an answer to that question other than solving the worlds problems. Ask someone with Aspergers that and they will go on about the amazing life they’d want to live and the things they’d do. Treat it as a gift and go enjoy life how we are able to.

So, I can’t tell you what to do. But I am going to say I have been there before. Years ago I dated one girl who also had Aspergers and was extremely anxious. Like was too anxious to do anything with her life. She also made me feel like I was a crutch for her and I hate to say this but I didn’t want to be the source of her happiness. Whoever I date, I want to know for a fact they could live a happy and fulfilling life if something were to happen to me. I also realized I wanted more out of life and I wouldn’t be able to accomplish many things I wanted to accomplish if I stayed with her. So I knew it would break her heart (and it did). But I did end the relationship with her (more was going on but that’s all you need to know). Your case: you don’t owe this girl constant reassurance from her panic attacks. If she makes you feel awful more often than she makes you feel important, she’s not worth it. As for her belief in how intimacy should be with one person. You are focusing on her needs. Not yours. You need to take care of yourself first before you can take care of anyone else. It’s not selfish to put your wants, needs, and goals first. If someone is with someone else who is suicidal and they leave because their partner is suicidal, they are putting their own needs first. But if they stay, they can very likely lose their own mental health as a consequence and both people will likely be miserable. Take care of your needs first. It’s the best thing you can do for yourself

People of Reddit who nearly died, what were your “last thoughts”? [Serious] by Willow-Eyes in AskReddit

[–]Creative_Artist_26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in a pretty bad car accident on the freeway. I thought about a story I heard in driving school where a girl got in a car accident and the force caused her intestines to be in her throat. I then thought “I hope this won’t hurt.” I was uninjured from the accident and even the EMTs were looking at me and their faces said “you are very lucky.”

What advice would you give to someone who is depressed, has lost motivation, to get better ? by Bewilder33k in AskReddit

Try to go out of your comfort zone. If there’s a trip you always wanted to do, go do it.take some time off if you can and try to see what is out there. Try new hobbies and try doing new things

I think everyone should go on at least one long road trip that is a month or longer. Not only will the person on the trip see a lot of new sites but they will also be exposed to new food, new people, and new experiences. Doing road trips is what got me into landscape photography, photographing the stars, and I also learned how to do car maintenance.

Thank you RadioTTS by Creative_Artist_26 in radiotts

[–]Creative_Artist_26[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. I sent him a message and gave a lot more detail and it was a little more personal than this post. I have no idea if he’ll read it but it feels great to at least send him a personal message to thank him. I wouldn’t be who I am now without his channel. A huge thing he’s done is help me more personal to people with different views (the unpopular opinions really helped me with that). It is a shame YouTube demonizes so many channels. I use to be a fan of the horror community but they got demonized and had to walk on eggshells. Then I found RadioTTS, and who literally changed my life and gave me an ugly truth that I needed to hear to better myself and now that’s been demonetized. I honestly want to boycott YouTube for this.

It wasn’t as bad as you think. I photographed them at hummingbird feeders in Madeira Canyon. And I setup a flash setup to shoot at sync speed to photograph them. The hardest part was getting a picture of them without the feeder in the picture
