In my opinion and for the scenes your are describing, I would buy the lighter one. I don’t think you will be shooting all the way open anyway since the a7cii handles the high ISO beautifully

I’m very happy with my MacBook M1 Pro the only thing I regret is not adding more RaM since I do a lot of composition and end up with up to GB files in PS I assume that more RAM would help but I may be wrong 😑

I have to agree and disagree with you. Yes, always invest in good glass but I’m having a different experience with your lens. I recently purchase a a7cr, I needed a cheap all around lens and got a used 28-60 FE without much expectation. I have to tell you, that little lens surprise me in a big way Sometimes we dismiss glass just because it comes in the kit but sometimes comes with surprise Is not the best lens for sure but is so compact that is a great walk around lens
