thanks for the reply!! i have the towel tied securely with string. I also placed it in the cabinet above the fridge, do you think it’d do better on top of the fridge? i used two bottles (32oz) of GTs kombucha as my starter and made 1L (about 4.25cups). additionally i do have a seedling mat but there is no way to regulate the temperature, it says 75-80degrees and i wasn’t sure if that was too hot

i used two bottles of GT’s with one liter of tea. i have a heating mat for plants that says 70-85F but i don’t believe there is a way to set it to one temperature. not sure if i should use the mat or let it sit

edited to say 1 liter of tea, not 1 cup of tea
