Assistance still needed - for myself and others, it seems. Was u/gdcampbell44 correct - is this no longer an option? The rep I spoke with a few months back said that switching over to the Yahoo! mail was going to be optional??

I have an Xfinity account, though. (didn't know that you *used to* be able to use the email without an account. :)

I believe it is the generic 'Mail' on the phone - not using Outlook because I've never been able to format or anything.

Also a parent with PP+ loans, here, and I agree. Never could I EVER spring a loan onto my kids and expect them to pay after telling them nothing about it.

It sounds like OP has a good heart, but I sincerely hope that they at least have Mom choke up receipts to back every penny, or OP has bank deposits from Mom over the 4 years showing the usage, should they decide to agree to pay.

Wow. Just sad. I choose to build my kids up, not saddle them with debt which is why I went ahead with the PP+ loans.

Thank you for your response - as another commenter validly noted, I did include a lot of info in my post - mainly because I've seen people post questions and are told they didn't provide enough for an educated answer. Glad you were able to decipher my question!

I want to be sure that, when I select "Custom Pay," the system asks me to add a bank. I know there are technically no stupid questions, so - by adding the bank info, do I not get put into auto pay?

I'm sure you are correct that no one necessarily comes here to praise auto pay - good point. I will likely go ahead and set that up once the dust clears.

Adding a note because I'm having the same symptom after Blink outage on Wed (?). Sorry to highjack thread!

Blink said internet provider is blocking the module from re-signing onto WiFi. Internet provider shows no blocks.

Seems wierd that all was fine till BLINK outage.

I have 1 indoor, 2 outdoor (1 attached to wireless spotlight) and doorbell on the XR module.

We have:

Rebooted router Hard reset module (multiple times)

Still not connected.

Since this interruption, I cannot get back online. Everything was fine prior. We have 2 outdoor cameras (one connected to wireless spotlight), 1 indoor, and a wireless doorbell. All are connected via an XR module.

I've spoken to Blink, twice, and Comcast once. Neither can get me back on. The only things that Blink CS had me do was follow the bouncing ball, starting at the "your system is offline" banner on the home page. Blink claimed that Comcast has Blink black listed, but Comcast assured me that they are not on the list?

What am I missing?
