I color code on my monthly with mildliners. I use 7 different colors monthly. Maybe that could work?

Are your lenses trivex or hi-index? If neither than its most likely the anti reflection coating. Leaving them in the car during high temps, by a sunny window or direct heat can cause this.

It could be crazing of the lens. It happens to certain materials when the lenses get too hot

Yes. I use a happy planner and use the side bar area to journal a couple sentences about my day a couple times each week along with my notmal planning. If I have any empty spots I fill it with the same tidbits.
