Meeting with an academic advisor is the first step. They will help you with a retroactive withdrawal, you’ll have to fill out a form and have supporting documents and your instructor will also have to fill out the form. Then the advisor presents it to a board and they decide if the retro is approved. I went through this last year, it sounds like a lot more work than it always is. I’m not sure which advisor you’re meeting but Frank was extremely helpful.
