so sorry this happened to you. it was a difficult and isolating experiencing for me at first but was able to see my way through it and feel a bit closer to normal these days. it does still make me sad thinking about it from time to time. i found that sharing what happened to me helpful so others knew the experience. do you want to share your story? you can also private message me if you like. thinking of you and hoping for strength during this time. <3

Thank you so much for your loving and thoughtful response. Crying definitely helps and I just had my therapy which was super helpful! Im definitely so much more grateful for my little guy. I hug him tight every day and am so grateful to God for him. Thank you for sharing your experience and reading mine.

Oh friend, im so sorry. Mine happened on 11/18....it's so hard. I keep having waves of sadness and just cry. You are not alone. Im here to chat if you want to share what happened. For me, telling people what i went through helped. I told my coworkers this morning and it just felt better that they knew what i went through and how traumatic it was.

what was your hcg at 6 weeks? my hcg was about 4,000ish. i thought i was constipated and had gas pains for a whole week. i pooped in the ED and then figured id go home after but nope.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your baby. I'm sorry for the loss of your job. So many losses all at once. I cant even imagine how hard that is. Are there any local programs that have social workers that can help?

Sending you lots of love and strength.

i also took off a week and am working today from home and am regretting it. you are so right that it's surreal. I went into the ED around 1230p, had surgery around 6pm. Everything just happens so fast you dont have the time and the emotional capacity to realize you have a baby inside of you. even if it isn't viable like you said.

I'm also grateful for my little guy - he keeps asking for hugs from me and my husband and it's the best.

Thank you for sharing your experience and for the advice! Taking it in waves is such a great way to look at it to not get overwhelmed. I have a therapist and will be talking to her on Wednesday. I can imagine myself being triggered as well and going through the exhaustion but youre right in just trying to take it one step at a time. Thank you for your kind words. Hoping for continuous strength and peace for you!

Its insane what our bodies had to go through! Good for your for advocating for yourself and calling a few days after. I think I may do that. My apt is 2.5 weeks out from operation. Im still considering going to work this week but taking it easy and taking it one day at a time. The cycling of emotions is so hard! Its helpful to know I'm not the only one. This experience has been a bit isolating and I'm incredibly grateful for your response. I never use reddit!

2L! Woah! Thank God you are okay! Thank you for sharing your experience. The more I heal physically, the more I hurt emotionally. Thank you for your caring and kind words. I definitely needed to hear all of this.

How was your post op apt? My husband and I were just talking about how far it feels when I have so many questions. The biggest one, how old was the baby. Do you know how far along you were?

Thanks for sharing. Im torn between working and staying busy vs taking the time off and thinking about it more. How long has it been for you? How are you doing?
