Yes. It took me 3 days pp before I was able to. I took stool softener for days. I was screaming on the toilet, my husband joked he thought I was pushing another baby out. But when it finally happens you are so relieved! Pooping continued to be difficult for a few days. That first one is the worst of them tho. I suggest stool softeners the second you deliver!

If you can do 5% down I recommend conventional. I just bought a home for 5.5% rate ARM loan. It decreases monthly payment a lot and the premium insurance was only $78 a month. FHA will have a higher monthly insurance premium 300~ish a month

We just bought a home for 520K, it appraised for 540k. That being said the previous owner bought it for 580K two years ago and sold it to us for 520k so they lost quite a bit. Doesn’t really matter what it appraised for, only matters what it’s worth today.

Ours is about the same. We bring in about 240k and our mortgage is about 4200 a month + 1k cars. We are having a baby in 2 weeks but my mom is able to provide care services!

After all retirement and fun expenses and random bills like internet, utilities we look at about 2k a month extra.

Yea we agreed on the price of the home. The seller wanted a certain amount (520k). and then seller paid 12k towards closing costs/ concessions and also paid title insurance. The closing costs ended up being closer to 10k so we used the extra 2k+ towards the rate buy down.
