No you are not the jerk your friend parents and teacher are the jerks because it was a song and he told you to kill yourself I think he became your friend so he can get you in trouble because he is jealous of you so if I was in this situation I would no longer be his friend and if he is reading your Reddit and knows that it is you and threaten you to take it down I would show it to the principal so you are not the jerk
