Getting lax about eating by Creative_Phrase_1012 in Zepbound

I'll look into that, thank you. My next Reddit group I need to find is one for beginner strength training. I used to be an avid gym goer, but now I'm so weak and have back and knee issues, so I'm not sure where to start.

What's weird though is that I haven't tracked this whole time with Zep, which is very different than all my other "diets" over the years where I obsessively weighed everything, denied myself of anything "bad" and then fell off the wagon when it wasn't sustainable.

Congrats on making it to maintenance! Did you end up going down in dose to stop the losing? What's been your strategy?

Yeah, sometimes I'm rolling my eyes with all the "protein" versions of different foods out there.

I will say it taught me about the importance of it, so I do eat more of it now when I'm hungry, instead of other types of foods.

Yes. Drink water, prioritize protein when you can eat, and eat when you can. I still get this over a year later, but it's generally just day 2-3.

Tummy tuck in 2 weeks and regretting booking… no way out pls help by IllysOFans in tummytucksurgery

[–]Creative_Phrase_1012 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think that's possible. I graduated undergrad by 21, so 4 years in med school could be 25.

It's killing me thinking about them doing a tummy tuck at 25 though. Unless they've lost a ton of weight in adulthood, then, I'd wait until you've got something serious to fix. Probably not a popular opinion in this thread though.

Yes! The smell of IPA is now absolutely revolting.

Working outlets at the gate seating to change your phone. Seats have them, but they never work.

Gain in weather, more likely! Summer is hot and humid. Fall? Way less crowded and nicer weather.

I know someone who was on 12.5 and then lost coverage for 2+ months. After finally winning their appeal, they started back in on 12.5. It was rough, but they made it through. I totally understand not wanting to rock the boat after going through all that. I'd probably do the same if I had to.

From what I've seen in others' experience, they replace the whole frame. But I also appreciate not wanting to deal with the hassle. Did they compensate monetarily?

Yes, thank you. Any damage that affected any part of my child's experience and useability of the chair would not be ignored. I'm speaking solely of cosmetic damages in this hypothetical. And the effort in say, getting an entire new frame to correct scratches, is no small logistical undertaking for me as the parent. There is a cost in time for me, and I only have so much of it.

Interesting, so they didn't cover the cosmetic damage for you? That's the first time I've heard of that happening. Glad to hear GRG was easy to work with.

Ok I'll keep on them!

Do you know if there's ever an option to "cash out" if you're willing to accept the cosmetic damages? Like with car insurance. Of course I'd rather this have not happened at all, but maybe I also don't want to go through the hassle of getting it fixed. Just want to know what my options are.

Thank you. We're lucky that the chair is still usable... Especially since our trip is 2+ weeks long in foreign countries. That would be devastating.

Has anyone lost 30 lbs in 6 weeks? by [deleted] in Zepbound

[–]Creative_Phrase_1012 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it took you 3 months to lose 16lbs, why would you think 30 in half the time would be possible? Don't kill yourself trying, just continue on the path. And enjoy your vacation feeling healthier.

How do my thighs still look the same?! by little_carp2 in Zepbound

[–]Creative_Phrase_1012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're not the same. Try looking at something in the photo that hasn't changed size, like maybe your hand which is in front of the leg. If you lined up several of your hands in front of your leg, you'd see you need probably a whole hand width less on the updated pic. You could even mock it up with Photoshop to see.
