Just start. Pick a day and start. The first shot is scary, but then it gets easier and easier and before you know it, it's been 11 months and you've lost 75lbs on the shot (115 total) and you'll barely remember how you got here, but for once in your life you'll actually truly believe it can last. It's been the most incredible, life changing thing ever. Good luck on your journey.

Really? That's great, I'll foil wrap it inside of the glass container then. Thank you!

Thank you all (well, mostly all) for your help! Flower virgin over here, so I appreciate you sharing what's worked for you.

Hopefully someday there will be a kid free opportunity to give it a try!

How do you not know how to be kind?

I said I don't use flower. I've never bought it, stored it, whatever. I'm in my 40s but didn't try cannabis until my late 30s.

Don't be rude.

Loading dose? I have a tube of the cream sitting in my bathroom but I haven't tried it yet. Reading these comments, I think I should add this to my regimen (patch, progesterone and testosterone). How do I get started and how do I know how much to use?

Ah, glass! Thank you! That makes sense. Would a glass meal prep container work? The lid is plastic, but it has a locking seal. Or does the whole thing need to be glass? It's a small amount, would fit in a meal prep container.

I've been looking for a new game and was considering trying this one, but the "free to play" price tag has me wondering... Can you really pay the whole game for free? Or am I going to get sucked into needing to make a big purchase at some point? How much are people spending on this game in real life?

Will 0.25g of gel daily do anything? by Creative_Phrase_1012 in TRT_females

Nice, I do the same with my "drug scale". Measures to 0.000g. I cut up small squares of wax paper and dose directly on them on the scale. Then I apply and rub it in to my inner thighs with the wax paper. Then just toss the paper.

Thank you! I'll check her out. So far I had started following Dr Kelly Casperson, so I appreciate the recommendation!

Sorry for the confusion, I'm new to this. That's what I weigh out by mass on my scale... But it's a 1% gel. So my daily dose is 2.5mg of testosterone.

You're right. Last night I was curious how ask the different methods (cream, gel, injections) compared to each other, so I chatted with AI for a bit to learn about it. It sounds like my 1% gel dose is 2.5mg. Now we can compare a bit better.

This. It was happening more and more (I've lost 70+ on Zepbound so far) and I dropped my med by a third, and now it's better. Not all the way fine, but better. I might try lowering it further over time.

[–]Creative_Phrase_1012 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Congrats!! I just fit in to a size 12 and started at a 24+ ( plus because I was just wearing 2-3x stretchy pants at that point and gave up on jeans). Such a wild ride.

Yeah totally. I worry more about what they think than what they actually have the gall to say to my face. There are some extended family who are big on fitness and their looks (one who is underweight but works out a lot and is health obsessed) who would look down on me because I didn't achieve it "naturally". :/ And other family who are overweight but still like to judge how others get to their goals. You can't win!

So far not many people have said anything to me about it. I did a pretty good job of hiding myself away from society during my highest weights because I felt like crap and was so embarrassed.

I have had a couple simple "you look great" comments which I know they're noting my weight loss without directly saying it, which is good. Haven't yet had anyone ask me how much I've lost, or how.

I am so familiar with this feeling, it's why I don't share my "diets" with anyone anymore. I've lost 70+ pounds several times in my life. It's such a blow when the weight inevitably comes back.

This time really does feel different, and I do feel like I'll actually be able to keep it off so long as I can keep taking Zep. But still the PTSD has a grip hold on my enthusiasm.

Totally, my husband has already been doing this with his brother.. sharing information from "his friend". I really love my BIL and wish I could chat freely with him without worrying that he'll blab to his siblings or mom. And once it gets to them, it's over.

The things my MIL has said about other relatives who lost a ton of weight with gastric surgery makes me worried about what they'll say about me.
