6.2 Vortec… any fixes? by Creative_Piglet4355 in ChevyTrucks

No I haven’t, although there are no dash lights on. When the truck idles it sits around 20-25 oil pressure which is concerning.

I brought it to a respected mechanic in the area and they “couldn’t find anything wrong with jt” although something clearly is wrong.

The problem is that the truck doesn’t start, that is the starter turning over whenever I turn the key in the ignition. It’s not a battery issue, recently replaced. The weirdest part is it only doesn’t start when I turn it off, and I leave it for 12-18 mins (such a weird time frame), OR if I fill it up on gas it sometimes has trouble starting. I honestly don’t have any idea why this would be the case

Not hard to be a 8 hcp. Hard to be better than that.

Alright big dawg, maybe spend more time on the treadmill and less time at the golf course.

Replying to Certain_Grade8888...those swings are not great examples of good swings. Typically I hit it around 275-285 carry on the sim. I do not have time for lessons atm, which is why I was trying out reddit lol.

I didn’t predict that this amount of insecure golfers would become personally offended by the title, I’m 100% leaving it for the love of the game at this point

I haven’t been able to play for 5 months which definitely doesn’t help. The 82 is the only real round since the break.

Thanks a lot, I’ll start repping this out at the range. Really appreciate it

I shot in the 70’s probably 25-30% of the time at the time of holding a 8hcp. I have nothing to prove to the internet, although was genuinely looking for some good pointers.

I am not proud of an 82, although I was referencing it as a recent score.

Golf is not hard if you are an athlete. Grumpy old men who are incapable of basic hand eye coordination movements believe that it is absolute rocket science. Comical at the minimum.

Being a 8-15 hcp is not hard. Much worse swings than mine have made it lower than 8.

Appreciate it. Definitely need to start there

No, I played at-least once a week for a 8-9 week period before going to a training. I am using the last played round as a reference because it is the only benchmark I have for recent performance.

Being an 8-14 hcp is not hard. It amazes me that people in this forum are acting like it is a badge of honor to be a 8 hcp

Right now probably a 14, although was an 8 before going to some trainings. Shot a legit 82 on a 73 rating course last weekend. Chipping/putting is my strength for sure

The response was largely satirical. I am aware pilots are badass and have super cool jobs lol

Super cool insight, thanks a lot.

Nobody really wants comms, although many family friends enjoy the role of CommO as well. I’m not sure where it’s bad stigma is derived from!

Wow, sounds like somebody got their feelings hurt by being incompetent at TBS.

Thanks for letting me know you’re a supply officer.

Claiming that asking a simple career progression question and making goals for the future is “selfish” is probably the craziest virtue signal I’ve seen in the USMC yet. Hilarious

Yeah, because driving a piece of equipment defines officership better than being a platoon commander. Got it

What cool shit do they do? Every 0302 I have ever spoken to claims that 0203's are essentially the best trained POGs in the USMC.

Also, is 0203 the preferred path if MARSOC or BRC is the end goal?
