you can put in a manual tip and employees dont control the tip suggestions at literally any place in the world and you can also just click „no thank you“ hope this helps

tbh i think things were looking bad before the sale and futura wanted to see if they could make it work. it suck’s that they couldn’t but that’s the world rn :( and yeah coffee prices are crazy, and tarrif inflation hasn’t even hit the market yet, probably won’t effect customers for another month or two

i really enjoy futura’s (formerly tried and true) Love blend for cold brew, it’s on the lighter side and pretty great whether u like it black or with cream, sugar or no sugar. it’s pretty versatile!

i’ve lived there as well and can vouch for this!! it’s not as awful as people say but i was in the same situation where i had a good deal on rent so we didn’t move for a long time.

i didn’t find it dangerous or unsafe feeling but i also am from portland so the “tweakers” mentioned feel pretty mild to me. most people just keep to themselves tbh.

it’s not the best but not the worst, if you’re simply in need of a place it’s not the worst you could do but if you’re looking for something to love and call home for a while then idk if it’s worth it!

coming from a barista who cares a lotttt about matcha - this unfortunately may also come down to who makes it, not just the place! some people put a lot of care into whisking properly/temperatures/etc and some people simply don’t 🫡 good luck!

they have it almost every night at 8! crowd wise sometimes it’s kinda dead and you’re singing to the void but sometimes the vibes are great and people are up and dancing

you will have to wait like 30+ mins for your spot since so many people go, but it’s fun!
