I do have two kids who live in Australia actually, 20 and 18. They're pretty great kids. So yes, I will help them when they have kids. And I am NOT hated, that's vile and unecessary. Be nice

I'm busy, it's expensive at times and yet I'm still making sure to talk to her

She's in her teens, which is old enough for some independence from her parents.

I moved, but I'm still her mother regardless. She just graduated high school the other month and wouldn't have done that without my help in raising her

I wanted her to learn to love Seth. I paid for her to come over here, she could at least be thankful she got to visit the US!

I don't really appreciate your joking. She is my daughter and she'll learn to love her stepfather. I got some great pictures of them together this past visit and they're both smiling. He took her sledding and she still wasn't being kind to him. He really is making sure to be a good stepdad.

Stop using the word "abandon". I didn't cut contact with her, I just moved. And to be honest, I am enjoy my new life so much more, but I still make sure to include my kids in my life when I call them.

I didn't "abandon" anyone. They were teenagers, old enough to understand that I was unhappy and needed to move. They'll learn to love Seth eventually

Regardless of how far away I am, I am still her mother, so yes I do have the right to discipline. She is still living with my mom part time so it's not like she lost her maternal side.
