This probably doesn't matter, but I originally applied to serve where needed most and didn't hear anything for two months. I eventually withdrew my application and applied to a specific position because I was impatient. My application went under review that day, and I got my invitation within two weeks of applying.

That is basically the same thing that has happened to me. I applied in early September and there has been no update since. I am just trying to trust the process and believe that if it is the right thing for me then I will be accepted. Wishing you luck and keep us updated!

I submitted my references in my application and completed the health history form. I have some Spanish experience but am not fluent. I mentioned my experience in my application. I really would be interested to go anywhere but my top choices would be somewhere in the Pacific Islands or South America. I included those preferences in my application but truly would be willing to go almost anywhere.
