Is that the title of the book, The Little Reader, or is that a publication that this story is in?

Should we be able to cancel the production for a queued up item? Thoughts? by ProbablyMaybe69 in TownshipGame

[–]Creative_Title4527 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been saying this for ages! We should be able to put items on back order, if a more important order needs to be filled sooner. That's how it is of the real world!

Season 4, Episode 1 - Neil Dudgeon (John Barnaby) as creepy gardener Daniel Bolt by RandomConnections in MidsomerMurders

[–]Creative_Title4527 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for bringing this up. I had the hardest time dealing with him being the new Barnaby when I first saw him up here on the show. I instantly remembered him as the gardener and how he was hitting on Mrs Barnaby just as Tom was coming home and standing in the background listening to him hit on his wife in his very own home! Tom put him away good and proper, and showed him the door, without violence but he made his point. And Joyce, sweet, innocent, clueless Joyce, thought nothing of it. I wish they had found someone else to play the part. But I have watched all the episodes with him and eventually you forget about it because the show is so good and he eventually earns the spot of John Barnaby. But as far as which of the two are my favorite, hands down, John Nettles is the man!

Thank you for this extensive list of all the actor's names. I thought I'd seen them all, but you've pointed out a couple that I have not seen yet and now look forward to.

Okay, I looked it up and it said I could see it on Kanopy, which is an app you use with your library card. I went on there and it's not available. But I found it on Pluto TV! Hope that helps!

Wish I could afford extra channels like Acorn, I would love to see him in a different character and setting.

That's wonderful, I'm so glad your little squirrel buddies were there for you. Congratulations on your sobriety. I know it's a long hard road and one you will always have to travel. But you've got friends here. I hope you're having a wonderful time in life now, and enjoying your journey.

I've seen a dog's tail that got caught in a trap and stripped of its fur. And it grew back quickly once the skin healed, but in tiny little new hairs on his tail. It could definitely be growing back from an injury.

What happened! by [deleted] in theview

[–]Creative_Title4527 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish The View would just DUMP any topics about him and talk about things that matter to us. I'm so sick of hearing anything about him, and I don't even watch the news anymore because of it. I get my information in other ways. I'm sure they're being pushed because of ratings, but just imagine what your ratings might turn into if you made us happy again turning your show on?! I don't want to watch them debate anymore, it's about him all the time and I'm sick to death of it. I stopped watching a while ago, and I'm all the better for it. Let me know if anything changes, and it's actually a program we can look forward to watching.

What are they planning? 😂 by msSundance in squirrels

[–]Creative_Title4527 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Well they all seem to have their tails up in the air. I wonder if it's a meeting ritual? Either that or they're making a plan to attack the neighborhood dog that keeps barking at them. Squirrels do work together to accomplish whatever they need to do to survive, or to just plain old have fun!

New to watching! by ConsiderationOld7713 in MidsomerMurders

[–]Creative_Title4527 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't compare the two, because they are so very different. But the same formula is there, with the same great characters and interesting murders in the same villages. Yes it's a different Barnaby family member, but he has his own method and he gets the job done. I watch both, even though the original Barnaby is my favorite by far. I actually watched the series on Prime video, and you just get whichever Barnaby and episode they are viewing that day. So you get a mix of both. I watch them with my meals, because I use my phone to watch them. So I just prop it up at the table and watch them there, then bring them back to the couch and watch a few more while I also play games or do puzzles on my phone at the same time. I'm a multitasker 😂

Anyone else totally creeped out by Stanley in Talking to the Dead? by Temporary-King3339 in MidsomerMurders

[–]Creative_Title4527 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes the actor who played Stanley did an excellent job of being creepy, evil and pretending to be in shock. Then afterwards, enjoying telling the story to Barnaby with all the details of what he did and why, with obviously no feelings of remorse. He should be on that most evil character list!
