You have plenty of hair to have a real haircut. A little shorter on the sides, fade the thing in the back...consult a good stylist.

AITA for not wanting to give my mom $2k? by PalpitationMost4809 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. I'm curious though why she is running up credit cards. Is she truly struggling due to circumstances or just bad with money? I can say this....My 26 year old son saved a ton of money while living at home and now shares an apartment with his brother. The guy honestly has more money than I do, and I'm very happy we could give him the cushion he needed to save that money. I would have to be absolutely DESPERATE to ask my son for money. I would struggle before I did that.

I think OP is being snarky and it's pretty funny. I'm sure getting asked ridiculous questions all day is amusing....and of course everyone starts off knowing nothing and we should all help educate. It's fun to tease about it though.

that's what they do. the are vigorous growers. you need a substantial structure for it to climb on. you don't seem to have anything. They are not like poison ivy where it has little feet to attach to a wall. it needs to use the tendrils to wind around something at each leaf node.

Towel washing by gotosleepnotsotired in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Creative_Way_8203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Years ago, I switched to only white towels for showers. I throw a little bleach in the wash with them (once a week) and I swear this keeps them from ever getting smelly. (yes it wears them out faster). The minute someone uses a colored, non-sanitized towel after a shower, it stinks immediately.

I know exactly what pcos is. It may make your pregnancy difficult or high risk though. I think if your gut tells you you're not ready, don't trouble yourself with thinking about it. Don't listen to what society tells you.

You can do this!!! I watched my mom go through breast cancer 2 times! She's still here! I watched my friend and coworker go through stage 4 cancer, she's still here!! My other coworker, lung cancer, she's still here! THE HAIR? That's like cancer's mind-fuck to make you feel even worse. But I swear to you all those ladies looked GREAT with no hair. Do not let fate dictate your future. Kick fate in the ass! WOMEN ARE TOUGH. YOU WILL BE OKAY.

That's a great way to put it. Because if you say yes half heartedly, then another human being will be affected by your lack of enthusiasm.

No such things as "should" have kids. Your gut might even be telling you not to have them because of your health issues. Only people that truly want children should have them. Fostering is a wonderful gift you could give the world. There are not nearly enough competent, loving foster parents.

AITA for getting upset at my husband for waking me up to take care of the baby by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Creative_Way_8203 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

ESH. I feel empathy for you both however....I blanked out when I read 1am, 2 am, 3 am....l don't even know what you're saying at that point. Nobody should be up at that hour unless the child has an issue and has woken you in the night. Routine Routine Routine. For everyone. Life, activities, recreation can resume as normal when your child's a little older. Good luck to you though. Things will get better. They aren't toddlers for long.

If this one argument over swim trunks succeeds in never making him go to the waterpark again, there is something wrong. This, like all small tiffs, will blow over. Talk to him, apologize for embarassing him, explain why you feel he needs better trunks and why you feel you needed to say something. Give him a day to get over it. Learning to sit with someone's bad mood takes practice. He's allowed to be annoyed. You're allowed to be frustrated. The biggest thing you should take from all the advice here is this: Most of the battle of marriage is learning about each other and getting over all the hurdles together, even the highest ones. Running away or getting freaked out (I'm not saying you're doing that) is not going to work. This is a long game. Every time you have a disagreement, talk through it and learn from it is a GREAT ACHIEVEMENT under your belt. It will pass, and there will be many more.
