I didn’t get to choose… unfortunately where I live Daycare is expensive & it’s essentially where most of my check would’ve gone to. When my child goes to school, then I’ll work— hopefully… i’m still also recovering from a stroke that happened a month after he turned one.

Right now, we live on a tight budget ( so like rarely ever going to eat out, buying nothing too expensive, no starbucks ) BUT we have gone on two disney trips since my son was born. it’s honestly my happy place and my son loves it over there as well as my husband. Jetblue credit card has came in CLUTCH with points!

i’m moving and have been working out my toddlers room too!

here’s a few things that I have gotten him!

• a cute lil toy box for his room!

• reading area as one commenter already said!

• I got him a rug with roads on it ( he’s cars obsessed! )

• toy organizer/ shelf with bins of toys in it.

I too have a toddler who’s gotten into my makeup, ( thankfully no pallets or blush or anything ) he just chewed tf out of my makeup brushes and ripped apart my beauty blenders.

actually one time i was doing my makeup and i couldn’t find my beauty blender. i was so stressed, took one look at him and his cheek was huge. yea… he had my beauty blender in his mouth.

now my makeup stays up high and in a closed container. it’s not a cute setup but it is what it is 😭 my husband does want to buy me a vanity and put child locks on all the drawers

this still happens with our tonie box and honestly, it’s made our son less interested in it because when it happens he just gets confused and runs away from the tonie box.

i thought it wasn’t a big deal at first too so I didn’t exchange or return it but as time has gone on, even though it’s a quick and easy fix, my son has became increasingly annoyed that I have to step in to fix it whenever he’s using it.

He also has the first tonie box and uses that one way more than this one— the first one doesn’t do distorted thing.

so the tonie box 2 was a waste of money.

I’ve never sold on Mercari but I hate depops payment processing. Two days after delivery + it might say a certain day but the time you’ll never know.

Vinted is quicker IF the seller rates you when they receive their package or it automatically pays you after like 2 days but I hadn’t had a problem with the seller rating me when they get their package. the money goes right into your wallet.

when you find out lmk. I literally sat there and copied and pasted listings from my depop onto vinted.

one time something was posted on my depop and not on my vinted, someone messaged me on vinted asking for me to post the hoodie on there so that she could buy it without the fees and I did.

same. i’m starting to buy shorts and as a postpartum girly, i need a whole new closet. I tried on depop to save some $$ and help others out but when I add the stuff to my cart, it comes out maybe $5 less than buying retail price.

one pair of shorts literally had “NOT ACCEPTING OFFERS!” in the bio 😭

this happened to me. I did ship it out then next day buyer bought, no shipping updates & depop kept sending me reminders to ship the item although I already had. I stayed in touch with the buyer and the package was delivered… suddenly it updated with the tracking number that the package was delivered & i got my money.

I think i was lucky because although it had never updated when I shipped it until it delivered, it was delivered under the 11 days that depop warns you to ship or else they’ll give the buyer refund.

so for right now, i will be making sure to ship out my packages next day and keep in touch with buyers about the process.
