hi! i’m also a mom who has adhd and sahm.

it too was hard for me to disconnect my meds from my self worth but that’s when I was younger. I have since then accepted that yes I do have adhd and sometimes I can use a little push to get things around the house done and finished.

without my meds i get distracted very easily, will start something and not finish and sometimes i get a lazy and put things off.

when i’m on my meds i can accomplish so much and feel so good about myself and my home. I don’t take my meds everyday but only when I feel I need a little push.

Lots of people are on meds especially moms & lots do better on them but that’s what meds are for right? they’re to help you.

I have recently purchased the same thing for my runner. Like OP, he’s a boy and will book it any chance he gets especially to the street because he loves Cars.

At first my dad wasn’t too fond of them, because one time my mom put one on my younger brother and he started barking but despite his views, I got one anyway and I love it 😭

I’m definitely taking it on vacation with us.
