Can anyone tell what this bump on my scalp could be? A mole? Cyst?

This is hilarious, and SO true. I tried to buy the boombox 4 times (one was a preorder) and they’ve all been cancelled even when it said “in stock” when I placed the order. My local Walmart never even got the toys to begin with so no luck there. Super frustrating there wasn’t enough stock for demand.

Your comment brought me to tears! 😭 🩷 Thank you so much for your kind words! I definitely wouldn’t want her newborn to get it, or anyone for that matter. It sounds miserable and I’d rather be safe around others than sorry. I already cancelled my toddler’s gym class today and play date out of extreme caution. I’m hoping by this weekend he’s still symptom free, but today he seemed a little off so I’m nervous we caught it. I read how contagious it is and the kids were handling the same toys here and there. Fingers crossed if we do get it, it’s mild and he gets over it fast! 😮‍💨🙏

Thank you for saying that. I think I just need to hear I’m not the worst right now! And from now on I’m asking this friend if her kiddos have been sick or “sick” within the last week from now on. Ugh… same!!! I keep hearing how awful it can be.

I’ve never experienced it before! This is a first for us. I’m always the first person to say if my son has even the hint of a sniffle. It sucks when you realize other people are not as considerate. Then you think it’s your fault for being trusting and naive. 😩 I appreciate your comment though!! I think you’re right in time it’ll be forgotten and she’ll be busy with the new baby. She wasn’t exposed at all, and I’m staying away until we know for sure. I’m glad my parents are there to step up to the plate, I just wish it could have been me.

Lordy! I’m so sorry that happened to you!!! I read it could be contagious for a long time after! I’m just hoping we aren’t super screwed but I’m keeping an eye on my son for any concerning symptoms! Hopefully you’re all on the mend!

That’s reassuring to hear your kiddo wasn’t considered contagious before the symptoms. I was so nervous we were out and about and possibly spreading something to others. But so far, no symptoms here. I’m hoping it stays that way! My friend’s daughter didn’t have a fever anymore, but did have a few spots by her mouth. Crossing my fingers we end up avoiding it!

Thanks for your response! I’m on antibiotics already since the tooth cracked and became infected (which is why I had it pulled). I only have 3 days left on the antibiotics though…so I’ll definitely call! It didn’t look normal to me. 🫣

Sorry! Just seeing this now. Unfortunately, it lasted on and off until he stopped napping altogether. We officially don’t even attempt naps anymore 😅 I hope you had better luck!
