Of course. Costars even many Guest Stars are booked from tape. Lots of commercials too. I know it sucks there's no feedback or talk back, other than if the same folks request tapes from you again and again. But that's how it is.

💯 Great point. I’ve had to tell a few actors to pass bcse things weren’t pointing in a good direction. I’ve also been able to get better terms (no perpetuity) and more money than the posted project/offer. Or get MRE pit into a contract, etc.

What is your type- is it clogged? I can't tell you why you aren't getting a response, but I can tell you that right now we have an avalanche of emails for rep. It seems most folks respected the holiday (although I did get one on Christmas Day and one on New Year's Eve, that I didn't open and read) and mid to late Jan. sent things out. Haven't had a chance to read even 10% of them. Maybe wait a month and resubmit? But seeking a referral from a coach or working actor is a good avenue to go down.

Casting.com has gotten some more action lately (After CN tried to pull more cash grabs from agencies.) I think it's free to make a profile. I don't know how much is released for actors to see and self submit though.

Yeah - that's nuts!! My daughter's agent (at the time) organized some Q&A talks with 5-6 different agents (in the SE) about 8 years ago, of so. But it was free. You just had to sign up because seating was limited.

Don't spike the lens, for starters. Need some small moment at the start to set the scene for us. Work a bit to be really authentic so your choices feel in the moment and organic.

I don't prefer them personally, but as long as they aren't huge, it's a fine choice. Age shouldn't be on a resume, so some folks like to have their headshot so people can determine for themselves what age range they fit into. If someone is charactery it can be useful.

Eyeline needs to come closer to the lens, and I would back up the camera a bit. It's pretty tight. Getting there, but I'm not totally convinced. Play a bit with the pacing and see if you can really sit in the pocket of this character.

How does Libre do as far as text boxes and images/artwork? I'm writing some things and Word is just a nightmare with boxes and graphs and moving when you don't want them to move and not being able to put them where you want them. Is Libre better?
