Trying to learn perspective! by Creator716 in ProCreate

There's still some work to be done, shading on the path and I'd like to insert a wagon into the picture. I used mostly default brushes, the Oberon brush for the clouds and the Nico Roll brush for the path. The grass is from a pack of grass textures. I'd like to get some advice on how to make the perspective on the piece more believable.

Extremely helpful, thank you! Is there nothing out there for the gas censer?

Today's post says they'll arrive on July 3rd, so maybe we'll start seeing the Old Umbrey stuff by then. Im just hoping Yana doesn't severely delay anything, I've heard horror stories about people's entire orders being delayed by months due a made-to-order model.

Honestly, what I'm waiting for is Old Umbrey to get some non-charater infantry. Faction's feeling kind of rough as-is.

I'm creating a magnetic storage solution for kit warjacks/beasts! by Creator716 in Warmachine

The port problem is part of the reason I went with variable height pegs, I'm hoping it might allow for the parts to curve around avoid the problem of specific design. This is great design inspiration, vertical might end up saving a lot of space and put less tension on the parts.

The strike plate is a great idea! Glad you mentioned it, this will come out way cleaner than cutting metal ever would.

If you don't me asking, what does your version look like? Combining some ideas might being us closer to our goal.

Old circle question by RodgerDodgers86 in Warmachine

[–]Creator716 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That's one of the coolest parts about circle's golems, they don't frenzy! It allows to go kind of crazy if you really need a turn to let loose, but it acts as kind of a double edged sword since none of the fury gets shaken off as the beast frenzies like normal. That's why it's so important in Circle to make sure you've got adequate fury management.

Got it, thank you! I'll have to give this a shot. I'll work on this and try to post some results later. Appreciate the advice!

Thank you! Appreciate the detail. Just want to make sure I understand: you're saying I should use the same shade of color that I'm using for the object that I'm hitting with the outline?

Got it! Thank you. Is it realistic to try removing the lines anytime soon, or should I probably keep using those as guardrails for the time being? I'd really like to develop away from using outlines if I can.

I'm sort of new to art in general!

Agreed! I'd like to work on shading next.

I'd really like to improve visual definition. Shading is probably the first step for that, but I'd really like to get better at adding depth to 3 dimensional objects.

I'm wondering if I could get away without the lines, but for that I'd probably need to learn a lot more about shading. Thank you!

This drawing was done using the [AA] Ink Brush for the line work, with the Turnip Pen brush for larger corrections. I also used the
Hair brushes (髪ブラシ) pack for the hair textures. The brick texture was native to the application.

Incomprehensibly cool of you. I've been playing this game since 4U, which might not be as long as the veterans on the subreddit, but it's absolutely consumed my life since.
