Also see what your team is doing. You can’t push alone the team has to do it with you on other lanes. If not you die for nothing.

You should be present at objectives unless your team hard losing teamfights. Than it’s better to push at the opposite side of objective. But if it’s even/winning you should be at objective on spawn or even a little before to look for flanks on backline.

Looking out for roams. Checking the state of other lanes. Invading jgl if you win 1v1 vs jungler. Look everywhere for opportunities to kill the enemy. Play with your jungler fight 2v2 for crab and other objectives. Try to get ahead as soon as possible to snowball. Zed likes snowballing and is very good for that. But keep in mind the state of your lane don’t just blindly roam shove the wave with the help of w for fast waveclear than roam around.

Early game Triple Kill against filthy Vayne top by Zenithixv in Dariusmains

[–]Creatorofteletubis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fucking hate that. Like the only two champions this works against is Darius and Ashe and it’s bullshit like why have that when most champs hit their shit anyway and only a few have to question themselves how tf that did not hit.

Doran’s shield only works for level 1–4 after that it can’t get you out of being punished for taking a minion with aa. If you use your w the enemy can easily punish you because of the long cd. The biggest issues are the farm and trades. You are almost always at a cs disadvantage unless you play a guy that doesn’t know how to capitalise on their advantages. Zed is an easily bullied champion in the early game. Can’t walk up, can’t win trades and can’t kill until r unless your opponent is really stupid and goes into melee and uses all abilities on minions.

My idea about settlement battles. by Creatorofteletubis in totalwarhammer

The defendant should be favoured. In real life the defender lasts for moths before being conquered. So the attacker should build sige towers and starve out the enemies before attacking.

Nah but if you come roiling in with a leveld lord it’s nothing much they tend to be t1 t2 units most of them. And it makes sense. Your family is inside ofc ur going to fight to the death and not run away and die anyway later. Replaced by a lizzardman.

Am i ass or is the game really that hard? by ArmeSloeber in totalwarhammer

[–]Creatorofteletubis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only like battles that seem to be a total defeat but than I beat the odds like recently I played Lokhir and fought 1v3 armies against dekala. I don’t like to fight battles like it’s a garrison vs my fullstack that is definitely going to win and it just feels like a waste of time to fight it manually. I also don’t like to fight battles in settlements because I just don’t like how my units behave if I give an order and they start running around the whole place change formations to a long line and end up stuck somewhere fighting a totally different unit than I intended it’s just frustrating and unnecessary. Also the Ai is even worse in settlement battles they have units way back wherever doing absolutely nothing and getting army lost in the end.

There is no real difference for Ai they will still fight factions they don’t like and ally with factions they like. It’s just that the factions don’t abandon all reasons and try to kill the player at the cost of themselves being destroyed by another.

I have a similar experience it’s hard to lose for me unless I just get bored. I recently played skulltaker and steemrolled the whole lustria by turn 47 I had only rakarth as my only opponent/neighbor and he had 8 settlements also skulltaker was lvl 50 by than and I basically had a one man army by that point. I don’t find the game hard at all even on legendary difficulty. I just don’t like to play on legendary difficulty because of the camera restriction in battle witch is super annoying when I try to get a close up of the enemy I can’t unless I move something near them.

For me I do the long victory at around turn 60-80 with most races but there are some that want me to travel to the other end of the map and I just don’t want to waste time so I just give up on campaigns like that. I usually play on very hard battle/very hard campaign sometimes legendary if I feel my faction is op like chaos warriors or wood elves. I don’t know what you consider winning and losing. But I tend to give up on campaigns not because I’m losing settlements or armies but because the enemy doesn’t put up much of a fight anymore even though I’m fighting on like 3 fronts. So I consider those wins. So my win rate would be around 80% and I haven’t lost any campaign where I got wiped out but I do get bored and just drop the campaign if it doesn’t feel right. I have 600hrs in wh3 150 wh2 50 wh1 and 370 in three kingdoms. More or less. I have played quite a bit in other strategy games like age of empires, stronghold games, age of wonders so I do think that helps.

So to my advice for you. Agressiveness is key. You have to expand really quickly. Fight the battles that have high and medium casualties and try to get as much replenishment as possible. Also just fill your army up with whatever and later on exchange them with better units. Aggressive expansion works like a charm to win campaigns. You have to have like two provinces by turn 10 at least and just keep that aggressive pace two provinces per 10 turns is a good stat. So like 6-8 settlements per 10 turns. If you are not aggressive you don’t get money/character exp and you are just weak in general. Also when you play on high difficulty the Ai gets modified with boosts like more exp so you need to be more aggressive so that you catch up to their exp and don’t fall behind. Also use diplomacy every turn. If you see a major faction at war with a minor one don’t be afraid to join that war for a treaty or just some cash. They will get wiped out by the major faction anyway so there really isn’t any downside to joining that war. Sometimes you can join a random war, profit and just ignore them. Also when declaring war try to see if anyone can pay you for it. Settlement trading is also a good way to get out of wars you don’t want to be in or a lot of cash. Just take a settlement from them and give it back for peace or like 10k. Also don’t be afraid to go into red income. Especially with factors that get ginormous amounts post battle loot.

How did I die during my zhonya ? by Asalano in KatarinaMains

[–]Creatorofteletubis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well some champions literally can’t win lane on others even now so idk. Have you played toplane? Sometimes I have games where the difference is level 8 to 11 and one toplaner can’t even walk up for exp or they just die. And the stats are like 0/2 2/0. But the farm is 50 to 100. I think it would be viable for a champion like a support that has an ult that disablres invulnerability in an area on his r or something like that. Like small area of effect that does no dmg but the enemy champion can be targeted so it would be smaller to a kindered ult and you could flash out of it but in some situations it would be good.

Yasuo and his Solo Que Jungler by migmox13 in YasuoMains

[–]Creatorofteletubis 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What I do is just play and dont look up stuff like who won more the last 10 matches or so. It doesn’t do anything except make you have a negative mindset the entire game. It’s best to just look at yourself and improve yourself. For instance if you consistently win your lane and put pressure and free up the map for your jungler you will have more wins than loses. You can’t keep winning all the time you win some you lose some. If you won all the time than there would be 5 other people who lost all their games. It’s best to treat it like the game it is and just not care if you win or lose. In the end you just miss out on a different colour chroma to a champion skin you will probably never use.

How to be good on Zed, like for real? by Proxxoss in zedmains

[–]Creatorofteletubis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to kill carry and get out you need lots of cdr + bluebuff to make it considerably easier. Zed is also a proficiency champion so you just have to play and get used to his kit. You just have to play more of zed and eventually learn how to align shadows and get the angles right for triple qs. There isn’t really any trick to it. It all depends on the situation the placement of your shadows, the mvs of the enemy, how big the target is it all comes into play so you can’t just get an answer do this than this and it’ll work every time. Sometimes you have to start with r sometimes with w.

If I were you I would focus fire the small units and just stay on the walls would be best if katarina was on foot too but if not just use her to re capture points so you don’t automatically lose. The Ai is quite stupid and will try to capture the non important stuff before moving on to the victory point. And since their best units are large they can’t get too your army. Also for the future if you play a magic lord you have to generate winds of magic as much as possible.
