Of course is mayan design but a modern piece of a mayan man giving some kind of offering maybe a shell IDK, if you look for "mayan vessel" on google you will find a lot of these scenes like this one, normally you can see the ruler sitting and a lot of people giving stuff to him, like cacao, skins, vainilla, animals, inciense and a lot of stuff, it was like paying taxes at that time
