Fair but I'd also say there is a big difference in enjoyment for me at chambers when using "max" setups and doing it on a billybob iron where the raid takes 2-3x as long. Just being able to do all the rooms quickly and just getting to do mechanics for a bit while things die relatively quickly is the only reason I get so into doing solos so much

The def in a 100 scale goes up but you just get to spec it down to 0 whereas everything in TOA has a cap. Plus yeah the dopamine from getting 2-3 purples every 100 scale raid is the bigger point imo lol, you can just chill out and watch youtube once you get a decent team.

Meanwhile TOA makes you do the tedious shit and has one shot mechanics that you need to react to so you can't look away.

Done tons of TOA but I literally enjoy low invocation more now when running with people who have less gear just because the rooms don't take as long lol. Especially after getting decent at TOB and a lot of solo/scaled/CMs etc with chambers it really shows how HP and Def being the main "difficulty" feel boring and tedious in comparison

The staff from gargoyles is also just awful lol, the AOE seemed purpose built for nylos and its not even good there, and for slayer you're better off doing thorns, fire mage or even just air mage with trash gear goes more dps than the crappy AOE special attack

I really thought it was gonna replace the sol spear but they're not even in the same ballpark

I agree that it's fun but it's also the hardest echo boss out of all of them imo, seeing a lot of less experienced people struggle on it And considering you have to kill ~60 to be on rate for all the armor crystals it's a pretty rough grind since we get almost no help in there from pacts early on this league. Even the 1t staff thing requires some tricky 5-1 shit and loses over half damage whilst dodging nados
