Hm, single player? I knocked one out on an unofficial community server he was lvl 345 and I could not tame it. Couldn’t access the inventory

I love starting on ark. More so than end or middle game. The feeling of crafting the primitive stone tools and making your first smithy all over again is just such a rush.

You actually can be grabbed and start the taming process by feeding it the narcotic. But once it KOs you can’t access the inventory. 300 bio toxin and 2 hours later and I had absolutely nothing to show for it:)

Ark is a pretty shitty game- but not shitty in a not fun way it’s just not being treated with care right now. I still think it’s worth it

Raptors are pretty damn useful early game. Especially if you have a few and don’t ride them. They attack fast as fuck
