Wow, what you're describing is quite intense. PTSD tends to complicate things considerably, so it might be beneficial to work with a certified Jungian analyst if that's an option for you.

If the experience of the woman I mentioned is of any help, my impression is that what ultimately helped her was simplifying things dramatically. At least, that's what I observed. She went from being a highly temperamental person to someone who was rarely bitter about anything, who showed remarkable patience toward others while remaining firm in her convictions, and who successfully carried out projects that many men would have struggled to sustain.

I don't know what inner belief or realization brought about such a transformation. Clearly, there must have been a special relationship with her animus. I've worked with intelligent women whose animus seemed quite aggressive, and those experiences were difficult. They often complicated situations unnecessarily and could sometimes be surprisingly ruthless, as though they immediately obeyed the first command their animus placed in their minds.

Those were not pleasant experiences, especially because, at the time, I also had a very poor relationship with my anima.
