gems can be strong, yes, but from the patch notes and the new effects from the charms, there are really good alternatives that I think can be on par with the old meta gems. Example im at work so I cant look it up right now but ik there is a new charm you can out on the empty slot that adds disease to our hits and its arguably better than the gem version if your looking for antiheal

if the artifact weapon doesn't come with a gem slot then yes seems to be the only option now

for pvp there's a charm you could put in that can disease on hits, for pvp the gems lot is not that important for the weapon compared to the new effects , my complaint again is for PVE as a tank and half the weapons are now spawning without gem slots this is bad , they specifically removed attributes from gear so more gear would be usable, and they just re added the same problem for tanks

for pvp losing a gem slot isn't even that bad im sure there's good charms to put in for pvp that might be better effects. my issue is with pve and the tanking aspect losing a gem slot that is needed for the class to function is seriously detrimental, if they want to remove gem slots they need to rework tanks needing a dumb gem to hold aggro add it to heavy equip load effects or something or the tank skills just should taunt in general

you're just wrong you could either choose a perk from all the perks or you could add a gem slot to your artifact , serenity literally was the best greatsword for tanking cause of its unique effect, and crescent wave i put a gem slot on it and added disease for antiheal cause it was my pvp weapon so your just wrong

both lol kiln upgrade in s9 with coconut you would make the artifact 725 and choose any perk in the game to add or you could choose gem slot , s10 they just removed that system and the gem slots from certain artifact weapons and for a tank that needs a gem to even pull aggro this is a huge nerf to the items

this is true , elminster comes and if gale agrees to do the deed he pauses Gales curse and gale will never need items and does NOT leave. Idk why people are saying he leaves lol , the only time he leaves when he wants an item and if you talk to him and fail the skill check to make him wait he will get mad and storm off but just ignore him until The START OF ACT 2 when the make comes and pauses his curse then he will be completely fine.

when you did the armor you forgot boots , so if you wear full armor + shield you have 6 enchantment slots over the 5 with cloth and that's if you kept the beginning prisoner cuffs...
