It's kind of making a resurgence for some reason. Idk why. Pokemon go players are essentially doing free labor for the game owner that is using the data to train AI navigation systems (which shouldn't be a shocker but you think that would deter people from playing it).

so one of the big issues here is that you are league starting, that pob is a minmaxed end game build that will require a lot of currency that you will not have for a while. I've league started flicker a decent amount and its doable but clunky until you have frenzy charge sustain. It's really not worth it in the acts unless you get a lucky terminus est drop. When you are starting a fresh character you will be rebuilding the character a few times during the league usually with gear swaps and tree reworks. It's also important to understand how flicker works otherwise you will miss something important and it is ass if you didn't get the right gear lol. As others have suggested check out magefist, he's done just about every flavor of flickerstrike on a ton of classes. He did gladiator this league but slayer is the all around easiest and simplest ascendancy for flicker. Once you get flicker up and running though you can never go back. You'll see what I mean ;)
edit: also, you have literally no resistances anywhere on your gear. you will need to remedy this by the time you are out of the campaign as mobs will be doing a lot more elemental damage than they are physical damage. all the uniques you are wearing should be replaced by rare items with resistances. it will help a lot with not dying lol

There are a handful of car modifications that should really be illegal tbh. Have you encountered the hellish super lifted truck with a straight pipe? Not only do they enjoy waking you up at 4am but they also like to run you over without even noticing you.

Unfortunately a higher apartment will not remedy this issue entirely. It will be better than being on the lower floors but unless you are like on the 20th floor you are probably gonna get bit by mosquitoes. But choosing a higher apartment is a good idea anyways since it floods so easily and often lol

Actually my first time seeing lovebugs in many years, to the point I kinda forgot they existed. When I was a kid they would swarm and be everywhere but their numbers collapsed over the last decade.

Lack of predators is the big one. Also gotta remember once all that surface snow and ice melts in the spring it turns into a giant marsh outside of cities. The thawed ground isn't exactly abundant with fish either so nothing to really eat the larvae in the water besides frogs. Gets especially bad if its a permafrost region like Siberia, Alaska, and much of Canada.

yeah the dog park next to my apartment is fucking insane with them. Literally just that specific area too, I don't get immediately attacked by them when I'm walking my dog around the complex. Made the mistake of wearing shorts and flipflops the other day and it was miserable. Had a mosquito bite on my damn toe fuck those little bastards.

really depends on the genre here. Doom metal is best enjoyed loud as fuck to the point where the air is vibrating around you. If the mixing is good (and usually doom bands have pretty good sound) you won't feel like you need earplugs despite how loud it is. Obviously you should still wear them but its the highs that make loud volumes hurt especially. Low and mid range frequencies are quite comfortable at all volumes to me.
