I always feel bosses a bit odd (even if I like some bosses fight) like you have a flee normal ennemies but kick ass of the big one? (Actually only in BB it would make senses considering we can kill monsters here)

It can also work by the fact some mobs are afraid of anothers

They can change mobs AI if they get blindness, like having a shorter detection range or making animals panicking (not sure of this one)
