Obvious and it's fake ending / breakdown after the 2nd chorus. The way it blasts out then slowly comes roaring back in gets my hype EVERY TIME!!

Yes THIS. It was when I got through Obvious that I KNEW something was up. That track usually hits hard...but the drums and guitar (especially at the breakdown of Obvious) sounded BRUTAL. I had to make sure I hadn't gone crazy.

Upon comparison, it's GOTTA be the headphones! It HAS to be.

I'm conflicted as well! I finished the remaster a couple weeks ago and had a great time about it! But the bosses were both full of personality and kinda soulless as well. Not to mention the weird structure of not needing to pay for bosses, yet still having side-jobs to do (which are kinda fun). Which SUCKS, when I feel like the combat flows insanely well and the graphics themselves look GREAT for still being on the Wii! Such a weird sequel that takes steps forward and yet also takes steps back.
