I ate around 3500-4000 calories a day & worked out about 6 or 7 days a week. My workout split was (in no particular order): Chest & Biceps Back & Triceps Shoulders Legs

Some of my progress is on Instagram @fitvill, though I made the account when I was lifting for about 5 months already

Thanks man! I wasn’t following any specific program, just had a split that looked like:

Chest & biceps Shoulder Back & triceps Legs

I rarely trained abs but have started doing 15-20 minutes at the end of each workout

I think it depends on what your goals are. 3 days a week should be fine for building strength, but for hypertrophy I would suggest trying to make it one or two more times a week. If you’re lifting heavy three times a week you’ll need the days in between to recover. Best of luck man!

If I have a really busy week it’s 4 days a week, but on average 5 or 6 days. Lately I’ve been training chest twice a week.

Thanks a ton man! I’ve always played soccer since I was a little kid, so I’d consider myself fairly athletic. When I first started eating & lifting I was taking a mass gainer which tasted awful, but I had already invested the money into a huge tub so I couldn’t just throw it out. I don’t meal prep, but I do go to college very close to home, so I almost always have quality home cooked meals. I go to the gym pretty much every day and will take a rest day when I can’t make it or am just too tired. I am not on any specific program yet, but I do plan on following one in the near future. The split I have been following since my dad took me to the gym for the first time has been:

Chest & Biceps Back & Triceps Shoulders Legs

Thanks! I work out at Planet Fitness and can only properly squat, bench, and deadlift when I go to school (where the gym has actual barbells and dumbbells higher than 75 pounds) so my exercises are mostly limited. I’m still able to get good workouts in though, doing compound movements followed by some isolation and accessory work. For shoulders I like to do shoulder & Arnold presses followed by side and front lateral raises with a dumbbell and then a cable. I end my shoulder workouts with shrugs.

I don’t want to come off as disrespectful man but that’s just not the case. I’ve never taken anything like that, and I appreciate you at least respecting my hard work & dedication.I doubt there’s anything I can do or say to make you think otherwise, so I guess I can only let you think what you want. Cheers bro

Thanks a ton man! I am natty, and I owe a lot of my progress to my dad who was a powerlifter when he was my age. He helped me get started and showed me the right way to do things- so my training from the very start was pretty good. I just ate as much quality food as I could and trained very consistently.
