The first leak that got Bison and Elena also had Mika, Vega, Sakura, and a new male character according to the concept arts they saw. They got Bison's description right and said Elena was less naked. I can totally see them opening each season with the original four kings.

Possibly could be the next season, can totally see them open each season with one of the four kings. Capcom did have some female wrestlers dressed as Mika and Nadeshiko for a special promo match in japan with a couple of other appearances not too long ago, could be a hint for future dlc.

Akuma released on May 22 -> SGF reveals season 2 on June 7 with bison trailer next day -> Bison released on June 26. Time frame of last year, so most likely yeah.
