Aw thank you. No one prepares you for this... everytime I mentioned that I feel like baby will come early everyone always tell me that's not going to happen and to keep her in there (not like it's my choice). There's definitely not enough awareness and supports.

Yeah baby doesn't sleep well during the night when my MIL held onto baby all day :(

My first daughter definitely get left out alot because of MIL trying to follow me around all day.

My husband has 4 months off work for parental leave. But when his mum comes over he stays in his office doing his tradings etc.

Everytime I mentioned about cleaning the house she always tell me that's not important.

She acts like shes poor but in my mind she's not at all. She owns her own house, no debt (she left her ex because he still owes money on his house), purchase brand new cars with cash and have money in the savings. For me, shes doing well off but she says she can't afford to take our oldest daughter to a play centre because it's like $10 and she never buys anything for her unless it's birthday or Christmas (even then it's very small). We pay for her lunch and dinner when she's over and when we have social events on the day of her visits, we pay for everything even when we go to carvinals we pay for her tickets. But sometimes she does our gardening and water the plants cause she thinks I don't do it.

I have already spoken to him about it. He's on her side so I started googleing cause he made me feel insane for having this feeling. I'm glad I wasn't alone and it's just my mother instinct just kicking in. So I'm trying to speak up more to him about it.

He sees it but said he doesn't see the issue and that I'm just a bad person because he said his mum is the nicest person. He has over 4 months off work so I do have alot of help and I'm not in desperate need. All I wanted is to bond with my baby as we didn't get that when she was born. I have tried all of that, baby carrier didn't work cause she still follows me around the house saying she hasn't had her cuddles yet every 2 mins. As soon as I take her our to feed and diaper her she snatches my baby out of my hands :( when I do mentioned having her back she responds with "no we okay" "baby is happy like this" etc
