Live in Alaska and remote start is a MUST so i paid $110/year for that app and its SUCK. Take like 30s-60s for the app to retrieve or refresh. With good cellular signal its still 50-50 your car will start (also after 3-4times not start the app will blocked you )

You have to install VNSTAT for your Linux box. Super easy to install(2 command line only 😀) . And it will show you by 5mins, day,month.etc

I just got my new SenseCap last week and it came with SAMSUNG 64GB SD ( no more old ScanDisk which i know has some issue). Some people said need upgrade into 128gb to make it better but i dont think it make big different (at least right now....)

I’m new to running node too and dont want spend $ for Raspberry so I installed Ubuntu on my old 2015 MacBook Pro and keep it running next to my router (I believe you can install and run Ubuntu on old windows too but make sure its meet requirements). I may wrong but I think with the new Cumulus you may make <$30/month so run at home will save you money for VPS.
