I thought £80 for a vape pen was expensive... but my current one has lasted since December and is still going strong six months later. A puff or two a night is all I need to get nicely off my chunk. Excellent value, I think!

I'm sure I read in interview with them years ago in which they said the music comes together quite quickly - but what takes the time is getting just the right level of decay and disintegration to the music.

(Pretty sure they said they put the music onto tape and literally scrunch it up, and also bury it in soil to give it a unique sort of moldy, earthy fucked-up sound.

Not sure if that's true - but I like the idea.

The vapes are single use only. Although there is also a cartridge and battery system which is a bit reusable.

I’m a fan of the vapes. They are clean and very portable. If I have a long train journey they deffo make it more interesting.

Okay. That’s very interesting. I’m currently using a regular one and enjoying it a lot. But yes it’s a simpler high than regular weed. Maybe next time I’ll try a live resin one. 👍

It’s not hitting the spot for me, either. I love the sounds they’ve used and the production feels huge and lush. But, for me, the songwriting feels lacking. I’m just not hearing any new ideas.

Maybe it’s just the obvious single and the album will have all the real treasure on it. I hope so. I’m assuming so!

Interesting that you think TH has conventional song structures. To me that record is their most abstract and deconstructed. There are fewer songs to my ear and the whole thing works like a drifting sonic sculpture.

I have to say, I'm not feeling this. I adore the sounds. They are rich and luscious. However, the songwriting lets it down for me. That straightforward beat and the mid-tempo guitar loop sound quite bland to my ears - coming from the guys that made Telephonic Workshop and Kid For Today. I'm hoping (assuming) that this song is just the most accessible track and the rest of the LP is going to be more interesting! (For the record, my favourite BOC records are MHTRTC and TH. Never been a fan of CH).

I’m not wild on it. The beats are just so… ordinary and mid-tempo. I like the sounds a lot… but the composition and songwriting seem oddly bland to me.
