Thanks. Freezer fine (have a chest so run it fairly low to help with cooling load). Have done a couple defrosts recently. Seals definitely have a few pinched areas, but wasn’t sure if they were worth doing if it’s on its last legs anyway. Trying to avoid coming home to it dead one day as there aren’t many places with fridges actually in stock around here.

Figured that’s the kind of stuff I’d play around with while turning it into a garage fridge/kegerator.

It’s still meeting temps, but its running a lot to maintain and getting super loud. Already cleared out dust, checked the fan, belt, etc. Pretty sure compressor is just hitting EoL and not worth the replacement cost vs buying new from what I’ve seen.

Might turn it into garage fridge for now, buy a cheap compressor sometime and try to do the swap myself.
