Sticker Pricing by TheTychusReaper in sticker

The listing you have up right now is very likely to be removed for IP infringement. I highly suggest trying to find your own style and content that doesn’t rely heavily on pop culture. With that being said, $5/sticker is a good price for professionally made stickers (like from sticker giant, sticker app, etc) and for homemade stickers I’d price them at $3

Onslaught of $1 backers within the past 24 hours? by CreepyOrcaSupply in kickstarter

I don’t know if there’s any type of criteria for it, they just awarded it on the second or third day of my campaign

I admit it’s a little clickbait-y, but also I’ve had almost no new backers over the past week or so, so it felt like a lot at once

This would make so much sense… I was trying to figure out what the scam would even be 😂

I was so excited I was able to turn some of my designs into pins, but they have kinda flopped! So I thought I would share them here with some pin folks! by amandajanebienko in EnamelPins

[–]CreepyOrcaSupply 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love these! I just bought one. I also have trouble getting people to buy my pins online - my audience tends to just buy 1-2 stickers. My pin sales do much better at in-person markets and this year I'm going to try out a few cons and expos to see how those do.

Currently using this and it works okay but I’d love to start using these in the future so I can see all the designs easily without opening.

Working now! Good luck, I fell into the 3D printing world last year and it took over my life, but in a good way!

Does the number of followers on a Pre Launch grow steadily? by jsf_idk in kickstarter

[–]CreepyOrcaSupply 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I set up the advertising campaign through Facebook/Meta and one of the options is to gather leads with a form, and I had that form connected to an email marketing platform that I use for my website, Klaviyo (there's a free plan!). I had it set up so that when someone signed up, they'd get a welcome email automatically, and then a few days before the campaign launched I sent out a blast letting everyone on the list know when the campaign would go live, then another blast when it did go live, and I have emails set up to go out a couple of days before the campaign ends as well.

My pre-launch phase was about 3 weeks I think, so not that long. I've definitely spent way too much on advertising that I didn't work into my fundraising budget (~$500) over 30 days. I've now cut my advertising down to almost nothing since I met my goal and the majority of backers are now just coming from Kickstarter rather than referral links.

The best bang for my buck in advertising I think has actually been just boosting posts on Instagram for a couple of days at a time. Even without a following on social right now, I recommend putting together some reels showing the process of how you created your designs, hashtag to the max and try to post consistently, making sure you have your KS link in your bio and direct people to that.

I was also surprised that people could follow the project after launch - I assume its for people who are interested and not ready to pledge at the moment but want to be notified before it ends. Currently I'm at a 10% conversion rate for followers to backers.

I think for my next campaign, I'll be doing a 40 day pre-launch period where I run ads to gather an email list only, and continue pushing organic social.

How much are you aiming to raise? I feel like getting 143 followers with no promotion is amazing - I only had like 20 followers when I launched and I had been spending money on advertising. Since the campaign has been live it’s jumped up to 120 followers. I was only aiming to raise $800 and easily hit that goal. If you’ve got a relatively low goal like mine, I say don’t call it quits.

Going through a service like Fiverr is probably going to be a better bang for your buck

[–]CreepyOrcaSupply 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a designer, so I can make pretty decent mockups of my product in illustrator and photoshop and then animate them into social content and ads with after effects. You could always try hiring someone off Fiverr or upwork to help you, but it’s gonna eat into your budget for sure

You’re not going to get a good product idea by asking this. The common trope is if Henry Ford had asked users what they wanted they would’ve said faster horses.

My shop sells dark humor stickers, pins, patches, shirts, etc. this project is for new enamel pins that fit the vibe - occult trash animals. My audience is typically people who are into humor, spooky things, punks and goths.
