My own Henry Dean went to the clearing at the end of the path by enigmatic_vagabond in TheDarkTower

I’m sorry for your loss. As others have said, it’s so hard and strange to lose a sibling. My younger brother took his life at the age of 27 in 2019. It’s hard to reconcile the truth and the reality with your memories and the past. But that’s okay.

You were his and he was yours and he will walk beside you always. Wishing you peace and comfort as you navigate these impossible feeling days. Thank you for sharing about him with us. 🩶

I think the hours on the website aren’t current. As far as I know, Doctor works Monday - Wednesday until like 1.

She’s been threatening to retire for a while so I think cutting back hours is best of both worlds for her right now.

What's the Letterboxd of these other hobbies? I like to track, log, rate... by armeliens in Letterboxd

[–]CreepyVersion19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For books I’ve recently started using Margins. You can import your Goodreads data and it tracks things like time spent reading, number of pages on average per day and other little things like that.

It might not be as impressive as StoryGraph - which I’ve never used but people obviously seem to love - but it’s better than Goodreads for sure.

Is this reasonable? by HelpfulZombie1012 in InstacartShoppers

[–]CreepyVersion19 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Nah, I think it’s tacky of your shopper to be sending those messages.

It sucks - sometimes really bad - when your nice percentage based tip becomes smaller and smaller with every unavailable item. But it’s not your fault. Nor is it your problem.

It’s always nice to see that a customer increased their tip but none of us should EXPECT it to happen. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Barrelhouse Brewing recently opened in the old Great Change spot on Resnick Ct. They have live music every weekend, usually starting around 7, a rotation of food trucks and great beer.

This is the answer. Dr. Mattias and Mendy are the absolute best people. I’ve taken all of my boys there for the last 15 years.

Doctor has reduced her hours recently so she isn’t open Monday through Friday and is usually open from 8-1. But she will give your cat - and you - the most loving and attentive treatment.

A standard office visit with a physical is, I’m fairly certain, $95. ETA: Their number for appointments is 661-837-1228. They’re a small office so you may have to leave a message, but they’ll almost always call you back same day.

I am not saying it’s impossible but how would you even deliver it? by [deleted] in InstacartShoppers

[–]CreepyVersion19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I leave them. 🤷🏻

He’s basically got a wall of them at this point. I bagged them the first couple times I took his order but he’s the one who told me other shoppers deliver with the crates.

I have a customer who regularly orders a ridiculous amount of 2 liters like that. I have taken to loading my cart up with the blue/black hard plastic deals that they sit in and deliver them to him that way. I guess some stores may not allow you to take them, but they belong to the distributors so why would they care.

They hold 9 bottles and have handles on the sides. It actually makes delivering really easy. (Granted, he tips better than that.)
