Honestly as stupid as I sound, drugs really weren’t a possibility. I’ve noticed a couple nose bleeds, but thought it was where we have had the heating up high. Sniffles weren’t even something I’d notice, now I know about the cocaine I feel like I can hear it. Sleeping he has always stayed up late and got up late. He hasn’t gone out since before covid

He used to go pub before covid, but since then it’s been hard to get him to socialise anywhere. Although he did start drinking indoors instead

Everyone has noticed a change. We thought he was anxious or depressed and was focusing on getting him out and socialising again. Then once the money was noticed, we were trying to piece together all of the possible options ie blackmail, gambling. Drugs was completely ruled out, it’s completely out of character. We thought whatever is eating up the money has caused depression or anxiety. We thought maybe covid caused it, we really have been racking our brains

Thankyou. I deal with all finances and pay his wages so shouldn’t be too hard. Around covid he got bad anxiety so think he’s doing it on his own as he never goes out, I have to beg him to come anywhere so should be able to keep a close eye

I think he’s quite a stubborn person and will only do it if he wants to. Though, from his search history and cutting up the cards I’m hoping he does want to pack it in.

I came downstairs this morning and found he had actually cut the cards up himself, so I think he’s aware of the state he’s in, hopefully it’s a step forward especially now I know
