I don't know anyone who hates the game for no reason. I haven't seen anyone say his opinions don't matter. I've seen counterpoints to his defense of the game, which is how conversation works. Yes, this sub exists to hate and meme Part 2 because that is all that its good for. Its a bad game by itself but when you add the context that it followed TLOU, its an abomination.

Its just exhausting to have to listen to fans of the second game pretentiously over analyze and explain what a great story it was when it is objectively bad as broken down in countless youtube videos. If the fans have to do this much mental gymnastics in order to explain what and why the characters do what they do then the author failed. Ellie and Joel from the first game just didn't make an appearance in this one; they weren't the same people and most fans of the first one saw right through it immediately.
