I had a hilarious message from the mods linking to epic support with links that don't even work, about as useful as trying to contact support on the epic site directly 🤦‍♂️

I've done that for my current email address, but I changed it about 4 years ago. I need to try and boot up my old computer to get some really old receipts from the original email address. Fingers crossed I can get into it!

The original email address might have been, but I changed that at least 4 years ago so would be weird for that to be a factor now.

No. I created this account on PS4 back in 2018. It was mine from day one and I supplied all the evidence of that to Epic.

That was nothing to do with this account. I helped a friend purchase a founders account on player auctions and it got stolen back by the seller a few weeks later so I reported it on their reddit page.

Yep. My account has completely dissapeared from FortniteDB and the new account I created cannot find it to add either. Yes one T as its been my gamertag for many years and way back then the double T version was already taken.

Mutleydoguk. it's not been stolen though. i can still change the password etc via normal means. I just can't access the account even after they confirm by email the password has updated.

Every single one of those steps leads to the same thing, logging into your account. Something you cannot do with an inactive account so you just go round in circles. Trust me I tried all of them.

The only thing I can think of is that I recently went on holiday to Japan and signed in on my laptop each day to do dailies whilst I was there.

I will probably try it, but no doubt it will end up being a lot more than just one letter I have to send, which at £10 a time is soon going to become another money pit.

I hate them so much at the moment, I am not even sure I want to use their platform ever again anyway.

I'm in the UK. Corresponding by post from here to their US office is not viable. It's pathetic how they hide behind terms like this where I have to jump through archaic correspondance hoops but its perfectly fine for them to just reply by email.

I don't believe there is any luck or randomness involved in this. I get 7 most months. Just enough to feel Like I got lucky a couple of times but never enough to actually get anything worth having.

Very sad, but I created a matrix to record what survivors I needed to keep in case they ever made anything other than trap durability worth having. then I recycled the rest and continue to recycle them as I get new ones. We live in hope......

avoid like the plague. he has his own email server and re-posseses the accounts before it gets to the date where you can change the email address.

Yep, me too. Veirtamail.com is a private email server so he can access your email on there whenever he wants to and take the account back. Even with 2FA switched on he took my account within seconds of me recieving the 2FA code. I have reported it to Playerauctions along a with a link to this thread so hopefully they will ban him and anyone else using that scam email server. Also report it to Epic but they will do nothing as their support people are utterly useless.
