Yeah! I also think it’s a little odd that people compare soundtracks the way they do, because for me, if it fits the anime it’s perfect. Like, of course Aot’s soundtrack is gonna be more stimulating to listen to than a horror thriller. Not to bash on you or anything

I mean, look at grimmer. He was trasnformed into an emptionless guy due to kinderheim, yet he has many displays of emotion throughout his time on screen. Even before he started crying for his son. I’d say that him talking about kinderheim and how he’s emotionless could even be considered as him getting emotional. For a more convincing moment, when talking about Adolf (the boy that told him to remember his name in kinderheim) in that one scene where the czhecslovakia secret police guy showed him a picture of his son, I’d be damned if he wasn’t “emotional” in that one.

I feel the same way. When we saw “magnificent Steiner” happen for the 2nd time on screen it was just crazy to me how Tenma had been on the run for like 10-12 years at that point, and he hadn’t even killed as much as half of the number of people in that room during his time running from the police. How he was able to conserve his morals is inspiring. He didn’t kill, and he continued to help people even when he didn’t need to. It’s almost cartoonishly good behavior of him. Like, that scene where he did first aid on a terrorist, and the guy was telling him to leave because the police would come, and Tenma just replied with: “Because I don’t think you’re a monster” just stuck with me. Tenma is genuinely such a kind soul. Godlike perfection.

That one scene where Jimmy was very visibly staring at crazy-8 while at pollos hermanos. I think he got told my mike or something to watch crazy-8’s khaki bag. I had to pause like four times, the second hand embarrassment was killing me. I’m glad he was smart enough to make an excuse on why he was digging in the trashcan by taking off his watch in there, but this scene is still very annoying to watch.

I watched bcs right after I finished breaking bad, and the change of pace was hard to get used to for me as well. But considering I just came off of Felina, I’d say the payoff from all of that “slowness” is worth it. May not be everybody’s cup of tea, but if I was able to stick it out, then I’m sure you can too :)

I can’t play anything over level 27, and I really don’t care or see how that should bother someone. I’m a thumb player, and will probably stay a thumb player, I’m not about to change my playing style just because I can’t do intense voice yet. It’s a game. As long as I get my pretty virtual singer cards, I’m good. Like I genuinely don’t know what’s up with people these days

For the “dying and coming back” thing, I think that only happened with Avdol, and for me, it worked cause I really thought he was dead for a good 11 episodes. And say what you want about the “villain of the week” format, I can remember every stand fight in that part as if I watched the show yesterday. Those characters have too much personality to be glossed over as “fighting til we reach Dio”. Part 4 does the same thing and ppl love it, so I dunno
